Restaurant Review: Olive Garden Italian Restaurant in Eugene

Olive Garden Italian Restaurant
Neighborhood: Valley River Center
Eugene, OR 97402

The Olive Garden is located in Eugene, Oregon home of the ducks at the University of Oregon and lots of hungry people. Located just across the street from one of Eugene's premier malls, it is a perfect end to a day of shopping.

Remember to call and make a reservation though, the restaurant is packed every night of the week, and why wouldn't it be with their incredible Italian faire and wine selection. The place is beautiful, decorated in classic Italian style with the ambience of a Tuscan summer night.

While, the atmosphere exudes romance, they are family friendly and can accommodate what ever you need for an enjoyable dining experience. Their appetizers start at just $6.25 and for only $10.95 you can chose three of their appetizers on a sampler plate.

Their entrees are varied from pasta's to pizzas and all your favorite classics along the way, ranging from $10.75 for their Linguine alla Marinara and Capellini Pomodoro, to their 18 0z. Tuscan T-bone (the highest price item on the menu) for $21.50. Of course, all of these entrees come with soup or salad and all the breadsticks you can eat.

Not only do they offer the dining in experience, but keep with the trend now reaching most restaurants, they are now offering the To Go option. They also have a Parties to Go menu, which such items as Hot Artichoke Dip, Stuffed Mushrooms, all their soups, salads and those delectable breadsticks. With a menu like that your next get together is sure to be a hit.

I advise you to get to the restaurant a few minutes before your reservation to find a parking space and get past the group of people at the door that are hoping to get a table. The waiting area is reasonable and the service is perfect.

The entire establishment is clean and tidy with a headiness of pride and regality. Their wines are great and compliment the food very well, if you are uncertain about what wine to select, their knowledgeable wait staff can assist you.

Eugene is a great city to live in and to visit is even better. There are a number of great activities that go on throughout the year as well as the thriving university life that so many of local's live, with all that is Eugene the Olive Garden has remained a favorite and a staple in this community for years and will continue to for the years to come.

The olive garden in Eugene doesn't take reservations, but it is still worth the wait.
