Panera has excellent service. When we walked help to the cashier she greeted us with a friendly smile and asked how we were doing. I asked her what the Crispani was. She told me the Crispani is a hand crafted thin pizza that comes in seven different varieties such as the barbecue chicken and roasted wild mushroom. She told me they normally serve it only after 4pm. Since we were there before 4pm I ordered the Fuji apple chicken salad and my husband ordered the Italian ciabatta sandwich. She took our order, handed us a number and told us to someone will shortly bring us our food. She was quick and efficient in handling the transaction. She was friendly. With a smile she told us to enjoy our meal.
Before picking out a table I went to the ladies restroom. The ladies restroom was clean, free of odor and stocked with supplies such as paper towels. When I came out of the restroom my husband and picked a table. The place looked clean and attractive. Our table was free of trash and debris. The décor was simple but attractive. The walls were painted in a nice beige color, which brought warmth to the restaurant. There were various paintings hanging on the wall, which was nice to look at while we were waiting.
Our sandwiches were brought to us about thirteen minutes after we ordered. The server brought our meal with a smile. He asked if we needed anything else and told us to enjoy our meal. The food was delicious. My husband said, "I love the fresh slices of meat in my sandwich. The roast beef, smoked turkey, ham, salami, Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and onions just make the sandwich perfect. Do you like you sandwich." I told my husband I also liked the ingredients of my sandwich. Mine came with natural herb chicken, mixed greens, Gorgonzola cheese, pecan, tomatoes and apples. It was then drizzled with apple chips and white balsamic Fuji apple vinaigrette. This was a dish I would highly recommend especially if you love to eat salad.
Panera provides a wide variety of sandwiches, soups and salads. Some other food items I would suggest is the Greek salad, smokehouse turkey sandwich and the broccoli cheddar soup. The prices vary between $6 to $8 dollars. They even have a kid's menu, which is all $4.49 not including tax. You can buy your child a grilled cheese sandwich, peanut butter with jelly or a deli sandwich such as turkey.
Panera has excellent food that I would recommend to anyone who wants a quick bite to eat.

Post a CommentOn Monday 8/27/07, around 4 pm, I went to Panera located on Liberia Avenue in Manassas, VA. I am a Panera fan and I swear by it. I always go there with my family since it opened its doors. But today, I had the worse experience:
1. Panera served the sandwich with the cheese wrap paper still inside it. 2. The sandwiches are pre-made and stored in the oven in a pan. All they do is to heat it. 3.It took forever to get the service when we made the mistake to order a pizza. The WORSE pizza I have ever tried. On top of that it was not well-cooked at all and was disgusting. Even my granddaughter joined in to make the remark about the pizza "real bad pizza Pop" she said. I swear, we left the place sick and on the verge of vomiting what we ate. We even contemplated to go visit our doctor. 4. I went to the bathroom to wash my hand, and guess what: there was no paper to dry up my hands. The manager about the Pizza, the extra piece of paper in the sandwich, the toilet for both men and women and sh
I found out on August 27 that Panera's on the other hand, has pre-made sandwiches. I had the worst dining experience at Manassas, Va (Liberia avenue); cheese wrap paper left in the sandwich, the so called pizza tasted awful, and it is not hand crafted; and the ladies restroom was rather filthy.Panera is loosing its touch, and us as customers. I left the place nauseated.

i wrote a review of the awful crispani months ago.
I'm sure I would like the Crispani - although I've never heard of it either. Good review.
