Restaurant Review: Pomodoro Cucina Italiana in Aliso Viejo, California

This place is not a typical restaurant. You can walk inside and sit wherever you please. They have booths and tables inside and they also have outdoor seating on their patio. My husband and I always sit inside on one of the booths by the window. Of course, you will have a server to get your order and bring your food to you.

The service at this restaurant is good! The staff are attentive most of the time. But there was that one time where my husband and I had to ask for the manager because our server gave us the wrong food and the service was just not what we expected. The manager did take care of it and we haven't had any problems at this place since then. The food is good as well. They have many varieties to choose from but I do not recommend their tiramisu for dessert. I couldn't eat mine at all and had to return it. But that's my opinion and others will have their own.

This place isn't fine dining and it is no Olive Garden, according to my husband. He loves Olive Garden, by the way. But it isn't too expensive either so that does balance things out in my opinion. The food isn't bad at all but it isn't the best Italian dish you will have. I recommend this place to those who are seeking other places that serves Italian dishes. It is definitely worth the try. They also offer take-out orders. All that you have to do is call them at (949) 831-1400 and place and order and pick it up at the time they tell you it will be ready.

The location of this place is great as well! It is right next to so many shopping places and right next to the theaters in Aliso Viejo, California. My husband and I would always go here for dinner before we see a movie at the theater. Yes, we have eaten here multiple times and will come back in the future.
