Restaurant Review - Randy's 643 Restaurant and Baseball Bar

I recently had the opportunity to eat at Randy's 643 Restaurant And Baseball Bar in Troy, Illinois. I really enjoyed eating at Randy's, which serves up classic American food, for many reasons.

If you are a baseball fan like I am, then Randy's is a great place to go. They have 10 flat screen TV's that have all the best games on them. You can sit down at the bar with your favorite beverage and watch the game, or you can dine in the restaurant with your family or friends and still see the action.

I went with my wife on this visit and we were immediately shown to our table. The thing that I noticed right away was how nice and clean the restaurant was. I didn't see a bunch of dirty tables or trash on the floor, etc. We were then given our menus and had our drink order taken right away.

The menu at Randy's offers a wide selection of items to choose from. You can have anything from a burger to a steak or a taco salad if you wish. I decided on the Sesame Salmon which included a baked potato and a salad. My wife chose the 'Stan the Man' Chicken Breast with mushrooms.

After a short wait of about 20 minutes, our food arrived. My salmon was a large piece that was grilled nicely. The sauce was a sweet tasting sesame sauce that was delicious. It reminded me of TGI Friday's Jack Daniels Salmon. It was excellent. The baked potato came out hot and included butter and sour cream as well.

My wife's chicken breast also tasted good with the mushrooms being a very nice addition. With as much food as we had desert was not an option! I would say that all in all our experience was a pleasant one. Our waitress was courteous and came over a couple of times to ask us if we needed anything and to refill our drinks.
