Salt Lake Pizza & Pasta is located in historic downtown Sugarhouse at 1063 E 2100 S. in Salt Lake City. The restaurant itself is in a beautiful brick building with a lot of character. The decor is filled with old, historic pictures of the Sugarhouse area, and the ambiance is relaxed and comfortable for the whole family.

The main fare at Salt Lake Pizza & Pasta is, obviously, their pizza and pasta. With daily specials to die for, like smoked salmon pizza or pasta, the menu will leave your mouth watering. They have a great variety from easy classics like cheese pizza and spaghetti, to great new favorites like Sun-Dried Tomato and Chicken Linguine. The portions are big and hearty and everything is excellent to taste.

If you're feeling a little different, they also have some great sandwich and burger options, as well as soup and salad and some excellent entrees like the Chicken Marsala and Pork Tenderloin with Wild Mushroom Sauce.

If pizza is your bag, then you won't be disappointed with a large selection of build your own pizza options, as well as some great restaurant favorites like the BBQ Pulled Pork pizza or the Mushroom Calzone.

Menu items stay in about the $8-$15 range, so it won't break your pockets. They also offer a great selection of wines and local and domestic beers on tap.

A surprising thing about Salt Lake Pizza & Pasta is their weekend breakfast menu. On Saturday and Sunday, they serve an excellent breakfast menu with big portions that are very affordable. My personal favorite is the Smoked Salmon Benedict. Each dish is served with excellent breakfast potatoes, chalk full of peppers and onions for a great amount of flavor. If you're looking for a place a little different this weekend, you should try it out, you won't be disappointed.

Salt Lake Pizza & Pasta is a great place to go and enjoy a delicious meal in a relaxed, charming atmosphere. They even broadcast games on a flat screen, so think about it for game night. The service is great, the atmosphere is great, and you won't regret your visit. Give them a chance.
