Restaurant Review: Tahoe Joe's Famous Steak House in Vacaville, California

I remember the first time I visited Tahoe Joe's, I was impressed by the service that my family and I received. The hostess greeted us warmly as we entered the door and asked us immediately if we have reservations. This place is usually busy during the weekends just like many other restaurants so I suggest that you do call for reservations because you will definitely wait a while before you are able to sit. Anyway we didn't have reservations but she was able to accomodate us and gave us the seats that we wanted. I was already impressed by her and couldnt' wait for the rest.

The place is western style and it has a great atmosphere. The location is great as well. It is located right next to the Factory Outlets in Vacaville, California so you can grab lunch or dinner if you want to take some time off of your shopping. Walmart is also just across the street and that's always a plus for me.

As we sat down, she laid down our menus on the table and suggested new things to us. She asked if it was our first time there and when we said said, she immediately started telling us about what the restaurant has to offer and of course, about their famous steaks. We started looking at our menus and they have so many selections. Our server only took a couple of minutes to get to us and she was also very nice and attentive. She made the experience very positive. Our food arrived within fifteen (15) minutes and it was warm and just the way it's supposed to be. She suggested desserts and many other items which we did turn down since the steak itself filled us up. Before our drinks were even half empty, she would bring us more. That's the type of service I love. So she did get a good tip from my family and I.

We had a very nice experience at this restaurant and every time my husband and I come up to Vacaville to visit my parents, we would always got to this place. They never fail to impress me and I will really go back to this restaurant just because of the great service they give every single customer that walks in their door.
