As you enter Texas Roadhouse, the atmosphere may startle you. Especially if you are not use to dead animals hanging above your table and the loud, bar-like setting. But don't turn around as this restaurant is far more than what you see.

Located in the far corner of the parking lot for Regency Square Mall, Texas Roadhouse projects its presence to those traveling down Cox Creek Parkway. The flashing neon signs is something that no person can miss, and the constant crowd that is at the restaurant is a good indication of what lies within.

Once you park and enter Texas Roadhouse, you will notice that the floor is covered with peanut hulls. Don't worry, the cleaning staff is not on strike - this is just one of the little details that makes Texas Roadhouse stand out.

Inside the Texas Roadhouse located in Florence, Alabama, you will first walk past the open kitchen area where you can watch the bread maker making fresh rolls for all guests. Then you will see a glass case where you can select exactly what cut of meat you would like - if you are ordering a steak.

In the middle of the restaurant is the bar area. Texas Roadhouse offers a wide variety of drinks and even offers a special on Margaritas on Monday.

Once seated, your server will bring you hot, fresh rolls with a delicious cinnamon butter to spread on top. You will also have your own bucket of peanuts if you wish to snack on those while you wait for your order.

The menu consists of your regular steakhouse items as well as chicken tenders and even seafood. If your not a steak fan, try the Chicken Critters dinner which is a plate full of homemade chicken tenders with your choice of two sides. A favorite side is the Seasoned Rice and Steak Fries. The price for this item is under $10 and you will definitely need a To-Go box because the portions are huge.

The wait staff is wonderful and will always keep your drinks filled and is constantly checking to see if you need anything.

Some nights, you may even find the servers gathering in the isle to entertain you with a little line dancing.

Overall, Texas Roadhouse is a great place to bring your family for a night of fun and relaxation!

I love Texas Roadhouse! Their mashed potatoes and seasoned rice...mouth watering. I almost always order the half of ribs with those two sides. Great review :)

I like the Roadhouse but find many of their meals too salty.

My daughter loves Roadhouse. She always asks to go to the place with peanuts on the floor. Good review!
