Our Dinner:

Our server brought tortilla chips and fresh salsa, so we decided to skip the appetizers, although they were all tempting. My husband tried the combination platter, which came with choice of albondigas soup or salad. He chose the soup. I took a bite of his soup, and it was flavorful and delicious. I ordered the charbroiled chicken salad with Italian dressing. The chicken was tender and juicy, and the entire salad was delicious. It was more than enough food for a full meal.

Beverages:

Beverages include strawberry lemonade, margaritas, cocktails, wine and others. A full bar is available. My husband decided to try the coffee. He is a bit of a coffee snob, and so it is significant that he really enjoyed the coffee they served; it was hot, fresh, tasty, and not microwaved, all things that are important to him when it comes to coffee. The refills were plentiful, and my husband was satisfied.

The Service:

We were impressed by the service at Yolandas Mexican Cafe. The staff was helpful and readily available, without being annoying. Several times, dishes we were finished with practically disappeared off the table, and we barely noticed.

The Scene:

Intriguing murals cover most if not all of the available wall space at Yolandas Mexican Cafe. The atmosphere is inviting and comfortable. There is outdoor seating available. The bar area features LCD screens for viewing sports or other entertainment.

This is a popular restaurant, and it gets quite crowded on Saturday nights. It is easy to see why. This restaurant offers good food, outstanding service, and all at an affordable price.
