The outside of the restaurant is simple and elegant, and although there is only a single flag that denotes the name, the small and simple entrance, as well as the tables set outside let one know as to the type of restaurant Betty's is going to be; good and different, with low prices and friendly service.

As soon as one walks inside, these thoughts prove themselves to be true. There are a few tables set up, but the limited amount of room encourages students and diners to eat outside, especially in summer, to enjoy the nice weather. Even though one may not often think of that small restaurant on the corner as being the best place in town to grab a quiet lunch and a delicious smoothie, those who know Betty's know that to be the case. No matter what one is hungry for, Betty's will satisfy, and it will do so in a pleasant, quiet and wonderful atmosphere. Betty's is truly one of Kutztown's hidden secrets.
