The Char Restaurant
In downtown Beckley, the Char Restaurant has been serving exceptional cuisine since 1965. The hotel features a beautiful view of their pond, valet parking and, for those seeking a more personal dining experience, they also offer private dining rooms. Reservations are not needed, and casual attire is welcome. Start out your meal with a shrimp cocktail, then one of their fabulous steaks, then finish up with a slice of New York Cheesecake. Glade's Bar and Grill
At the scenic Resort at Glade Springs, Glade's Bar and Grill offers a delightful dining experience combined with majestic views of the mountains of West Virginia. They feature food characteristic of the West Virginia region, prepared by their team of highly trained chefs. They offer a number of dishes, ranging from prime grade beef to fresh seafood. They are located on the second floor of the Clubhouse, and although attire is casual, they do ask that visitors not wear jeans, tee shirts, or sneakers. Pasquale Mira Restaurant
Pasquale Mira Restaurant, just off I-77/I-64, offers a superb dining experience for those seeking excellent Italian cuisine. They offer a number of dining areas, including a casual dining room, an intimate formal dining room, and an outdoor patio. Their menu includes over fifty items, including spaghetti, lasagna, veal, calamari, pizza, and seafood. They also offer a number of wines, including White Zinfandel, Reisling, and Cabarnet Sauvignon. Tamarack Food Court
Managed by the famous Greenbrier Hotel, the foodcourt at Tamarack offers a celebration of West Virginia regional cuisine. They offer both on-site and catered dining, and they feature such daily specials as Tamarack's Tuna Melt and Chicken Pot Pie. Other signature meals include West Virginia Rainbow Trout with Lemon Brown Butter and Braised Beef Sirloin with Sweet Onion Juis. They have been highly praised by such magazines as Saveur, Blue Ridge Country, and Southern Living. Breakfast is served from 8 a.m. to 10:45 p.m., while winter breakfast hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Lunch and dinner are served from 11:00 a.m. to closing (usually around 7 or 8 p.m., depending on the season.)
