Over in Jamaica Plain you have the Real Deal Deli at 736 Centre St, Jamaica Plain 02130 Phone: 617-522-1181 where you can try one of their famous monster burgers like the Green Monster Burger which is a 1/2 lb burger with cheddar cheese, bacon, crushed avocado, lettuce and tomato for $6.99, The Phantom Burger which is 1/2 turkey burger with muenster cheese with lettuce tomato and cranberry mayonnaise for $6.99 or the biggest monster of them all, the Frankenstein Burger which is 2 half lb burgers topped with American cheese served on a large sub roll with ketchup, lettuce, tomato and pickles for $7.99. Over in Faneuil Hall is the most famous of all, Cheers at 2 Faneuil Hall Marketplace, Boston 02109 Phone: 617-227-0150. The original Cheers is over in Beacon Hill, but this is owned by the same people and a great place to come when out shopping. At Cheers, you can try Carla's Petite Burger which is a ¼ pound sirloin burger with lettuce, tomato and onions on a toasted bun. Served with French fries and a sour pickle spear for $7.95, The Bunless Burger which is a grilled ½ pound burger with Caesar salad and sliced tomatoes for $9.95 or the Giant Norm Burger which is 2 burgers with Muenster cheese, mushrooms, onion rings, lettuce and tomato in a giant bun with French fries and a sour pickle spear for $16.95.
