When you think vegetarian you probably don't think about mexican restaurants. Well this one is one of the best and oldest in Toledo, Ohio. It is a family owned business that has been a fixture in the area for 40 years. They have a special section in their regular menu just for vegetarians. They have 10 different vegetarian dinners. You can also order items ala carte vegetarian too. Prices for dinners range from $6.95 to $10.95. Examples of dinners would include Cheese Enchiladas, Bean Tostadas, Bean and Cheese Burritos, Bean Tacos and Vegetarian Fajitas. El Tipico is well known for their Puff Tacos. These can be made vegetarian with Beans, Guacamole or Sliced Avocadoes. Another great dish in the vegetarian section is Nopalitos (cactus) and Eggs. Their food is available for dine in or take out.

Prices range from $1.49 for one side to $6.29 for 4 sides. They proudly say they have the best lentil soup around at $1.49 a bowl. Tiger Bakery also offers wide selection of imported Mediterranean groceries and spices for you to purchase. Their food is available for dine in or take out.

I'm not a vegetarian but I think I would like these restaurants. (We eat about 1/2 the amount of meat that most people consume.)
