When I see the empty tomb
and hear the angels say
"Why do you seek the living among the dead?" . . .
When I walk the road to Emmaus
and hear You say
"Why are you so troubled?"
When the Magdalene comes running
saying "I saw Him,
I saw the Master!"
When I stay up all night
and bring in nothing
but see You on the shore
saying "Come and eat.". .
When I stand gazing into the sky
and the angels tell me
"This same Jesus...
will come back
the way you saw Him
ascend into heaven" . . .
I rejoice.

Post a CommentLovely expression of faith, Linda. (Sorry I didn't see it before Easter. But at least I saw YOU the day before!)
Nice. Thanks for sharing.
Simply beautiful, Linda.
This is beautiful :)
How beautiful! I hope you had a wonderful Easter. As I pondered the Resurrection this weekend I was so uplifted. What a remarkable and precious gift we have, our Savior and Redeemer. It's my testimony, too, that He lives. Thanks for sharing this.
Amen! I wanted to write something for Easter, but couldn't be here most of this past week. Please excuse me if I'm not around a lot - I really wanted to read more of your articles, but am having a series of bad disk flare ups in my back, and must sit at computer only to do whatever articles I can, so can't spend a lot of time doing comments.
Thanks for this lovely verse!
I couldn't say it any better. I hope you had a happy Easter.
My Internet is at least connecting, albeit fairly slowly - so I'm returning comments while watching Craig Ferguson (he gets his robot skeleton sidekick today!)
He has risen indeed!!
