The first two names to pop into my head when I think of fishing is Cabela's and Bass Pro Shops. They are well known, and both feature sites where you can purchase what you want and have it shipped to you. When it comes to purchasing a retirement gift for that great fisherman that you know, I would start with Cabela's. You can either go to a store, or you can easily go online at www.cabelas.com, and browse through their items.

The first gift idea that I came up with before even going into any sites, is a gift card. These are great ideas and the person you give it to can choose an item that they want, or use it to help purchase something that they would not have otherwise been able to afford. Gift cards at Cabela's can be in any denomination, you can choose from many designs or choose to have one emailed to them, can be sent anywhere, and are free to be shipped. This would be a great start at what to give that person who probably has everything they need.

If you are wanting to choose a gift, the first thing I can think of that you could give anyone is a tackle bag. These are really neat, and you won't have to worry about hearing how they couldn't fish cause the tackle box catch broke and the tackle spilled all over. These bags come in many sizes and styles. Choosing a gift from here is a little more complicated, but a quick look at some of the outer wear, and I would have to say that I would love to have the bass fisherman stenciled hoodie. I love to wear hoodies, but this caught my eye, and being fishing before in the cold wind, I would have loved to have had this. These come in sizes medium, large, Xlarge, and 2XL. If I was to have to purchase something for someone, I would want to be sure just what they like to fish for, where they like to fish, and what they already have. If you can answer these questions, you can pick out something that they don't already have and something that they can and will use.
