jeffrey conyers
J.W.Ross, was known to have connection to many hate groups, within the region but no one expected this twenty one year old white male to be found hanging, from a near by tree. Many of his friends are shocked by this discovery.

All the clues that the local law authorities have hadn't led them to any suspects. They have called in the Federal Bureau of Investigation to assist with the case. And they are waiting on their chief of investigators to arrive in the small city any moment.

Chas Stevenson, a gullible youth was as likable as any young nineteen year old youth could be. But with the discovery of his body hanging ,a few feet from the first crime scene many citizens are fearful about the crimes affecting many youth.

Many are comparing this to the crimes that took place in the sixties by , one of the most furious groups in America;s history. Many are in doubt that the police department is really trying to locate any one in connection to the crime. With the arrival of agent Charlie Breeze and Derek Coburn their doubts, are about to change.

These two top agents has worked many classified hate crime and gained respect from solving many crimes that others fail to do. They are in conference with the local police department to compare their informations with one another. What's vital they keep and what's not they eliminate from their list? It's while they in conferencing that they are alerted to another victim's fond hanged.

Wilson Batts, who father once was a top rank leader, of a hate group but, who pastor the New Beginning of Faith Community church. Some are surprised by the information of his death from hanging. While others are of the opinion he had it coming to him. One, who believe this is Orion Wells, leader of the Affiliations civil rights groups in town. The other is Raphael Hector Ramirez, who guide the Reprimands, another social service group that works for the rights, of the Latinos.

These two leaders have had their suspicions about Wilson Batts, but couldn't confirm the rumors that he was organizing a similar group to his father. They don't feel any sympathy for any, of the victims. One thing for sure , they have caught the attention of field director, of the bureau Charlie Breeze. Who along with a few agents have gather at the headquarters, of the Affiliations?

"Mr. Wells, I'm Charlie Breeze." He explains the reason for the visit and the search by his agents. He assure the Affiliations prophet that they shouldn't worry unless they have vital information and isn't forth coming. While this is in progress Derek Coburn and a a few associates are going through the files of the Reprimands organization.
Many has accused this group of being a hate organization because it's alleged that Ramirez was part of the Latinos Five street gang out of Los Angeles.

"I think this is unnecessary?" The well spoken leader's speak as the agents throughly goes through the files and computers of the group. Soon, they have learning about the finding of another hanged white male, of the city. He's Bobby Martin, who father is a partner in Martin and Williams law firm that represent many whites that has been accused of some type criminal activity aimed at the small minority population.

After hours, of gathering information the agents are called for a meeting at the command post. To get to the bottom of these hanging is a top priority of all agents involved. Which has many back tracking files from the sixties just to make sure there's no connection to anyone from that era and time.

Charlie Breeze and Derek Coburn gives the agents, a couple of hours to seek some quiet personal time. It's apparent to them that those behind these murders doesn't take the Federal Bureau of Investigation serious enough to stop.

"Derek, you know what strange?" Directly looking at his partner. "If they were African American..." "We could solve this case quickly." Coburn shoots back to Charlie Breeze. It's the fact that these hanging center completely around whites that confuse them the most.

"I admit these boys wasn't saints." Breeze walk around the command post looking at pictures of the victim. He stops and just let his mind wonder through each victim personal history and connections they have in the dossier agents have created on them.

"To be honest, Charlie...I'm sure Orion Wells and Ramirez has some type of link to this?" He replies back to his close colleague that he feel the same way. They just have to prove it. They call it a night with plans to start the investigation over tomorrow morning at eight o' clock.

They awake to a news conference that was called by the leaders, of the Affiliations and the Reprimands accusing the law authorities and the bureau of investigations ,of targeting them as suspects behind these murders because, of the color of the victims.

"Obviously, many whites would love to see us eliminated for their neighborhoods!!" Orion Wells states with a rough tone to his voice. Which is concurred by Ramirez. "We are in operations because we was treated like our interests wasn't important. And now these whites kids being murder many in the news tossing the blame upon us." They confirm that they aren't running from trouble that's storming.

Charlie Breeze, a forty four year old, who graduate at the top ,of his class has faced his blame, from many accusations. And have seen many accusers be convicted ,by the justice system. So, he let certain comments roll to the waste side. While Derek Coburn has never deny the comment of being, a hot headed agent of the branch.

"So, they saying we're the bad guys?" "It looks like it Coburn." "But rest assure they don't want to mess with us on a full extent." He interpolate that they will be hit hard in the next couple of days by the investigative agency. Figuring, it might take the agents to play strict and firm to get to the bottom of this growing and controversial saga that's gripping them small southern town.

For the next couple ,of days the FBI canvass the town track any information they might have gained through their hot-line. One particular source of information came not from the crime stopper command line but from Vanessa Del Rio, who holds a picture of her decease friend Maria Marie, Diego?

"Mrs. Del Rio, you're sure of this claim?" Like someone, who's isn't afraid? She confirm it as factual. "Then, why are they pretending to roll us along? A hot and angry Charlie Breeze steams. A man, who usual remains calm and collective has let that moment slip to the side. "Derek, we get griped on by elected official constantly..but only, if they seen the lies and scams we go through to get to the truth!" He thanks the fiftish Latino lady for your valuable information and have some agents assigned to her for protection just in case.

It's about thirty minutes before Orion Wells and Raphael Ramirez ,is delivered to the command offices for further questioning on the case. "Mister Ramirez, do you recognize this face?" Agent Coburn asked the leader of the Reprimands social activist group. "Be advised that your answer might be seen two ways in convicting you."

But, before remark by Agent Derek Coburn could be finished. Orion Wells finish it. "Or freeing him..it seems you being watching many movies , where intimidation is the rule." Drawing the looks ,of both Coburn and Breeze immediately. "Listen Wells, you seems to think this is just a regular interrogation." Breeze speaks as stepping in the direction of the well spoken instigator. "But don't because you know Marie Diego personally since she was her your mother!!" Wells don't react to the information but looks at Raphael Ramirez, who is just surprised?

"Gentleman's don't be shocked?" Charlie Breeze goes through all the connections between the two members of standard in society. Even, if some whites still don't see a reason for their organization. "Brother-in-laws!" He remark to the activist. "Who knew?" Comes from Derek Coburn, who spells out further details they have discovered in their investigations?

"We have had four white kids hanged and you two don't seems interested in doing nothing but blame us." Which brings a comment from Orion Wells. "Because they are white we should care more?" "No..because they human you should care more!" Raphael Ramirez comes to the defend of his relative that only a few knows about.

"What about the Alabama Four?" Ramirez professes that many uppity class whites didn't concern themselves with their death. "Alabama Four..what's that?" Coburn asked, while admitting he's lost in this connection to this investigation. They stand and wait for an answer to his questions.

"McNair , Robertson, Collins, and Wesley!" He shouts with anger toward the still confused agent. Who looks toward field director Charlie Breeze in puzzlement? Who is not lost on the questioning? "You referring to those four young girls killed in church in Alabama during the sixties?"

Which bring head nodding from the two held activists in agreement. Who explains that many supported those bombing like it was an acceptable rule of society? "Ramirez..Wells, we can't say it wasn't wrong because it was that's something we all agree on." But, he points out racial strife is growing and this time many deaths could leave the town in a worse position than the sixties.

"What are we missing in this puzzle?" "My Father." professes Orion Wells, who claim he was told by his decease mother that Edgar O. Batts, is his natural father. "The pastor!" "I'm still lost Mister Wells." Breeze directs in a calm manner to Orion Wells. Explaining, he see the mix heritage but finds it hard to believe, a professed former bigot would sleep with anyone he protested against. But is offer birth certificates and other documents that his mother kept for confirmation of proof.

Soon, the attention of the assigned agents are turned into another area for investigation. Many ,at the New Beginning of Faith watch the arrival of agent Charlie Breeze and Derek Coburn, who sit through the church bible studies. After all they not in a hurry to interviewed the pastor's since most of the information they have is documented.

They just wants to try to bring closure to this national news story that has reached the power of Washingtion D.C
leaders and beyond the United States. In close room confererring with the agents, Pastor Batts verify being Orion Wells natural father although he was adopted by a African American council man named Oscar Wells, who married Maria Diego.

"Pastor, what we can't figure..and maybe you can assist us is why are the hanging solely white youths?" He point out that the Affiliations and the Reprimands civil rights groups no longer figure into the equation as they once have.

"I'm lost too because I figure those two groups was trying for retribution for me denying and protesting against their method of operation." They begin to turn the spotlight on his lawyer Bobby "Big Moose" Martin, who still hold friendships with some questionable associates of white segregationist. He has made his opinions known that he won't represent minority but hired Josh Martin, Williams strictly for that service. Which is controversial itself since Martin is a African American, who is fine with working as his partner. "Strange bed partner?"

They gather all information on Martin, but can't link him to being a member of any hate group except being their lawyer of choice. After all, it's a free country to pick your employees, if it doesn't discriminate under the federal laws on the books.

"This is strange..just strange?" "Breeze explain your logic?" "Look white kids are the target when it's usually a minority being the one by racists in societry." While going through information over and over about the law firm of Martin and Williams they come up on the history of a young JM, Williams. Who once belong to gang out of Los Angeles?

"You figure it's him?" Derek Coburn quiz his director of operation. "More likely, because, I for one wouldn't work for, a former segregationist to save my life." Explaining, he's comfortable with the arrangement with Bobby Martin, but there must be more to it. They request the presence of Josh Williams, only to find that he's head to the air port for, a flight to California.

With calls and pull of federal authorities they race to the air port before his plane can take flight. Upon arrival, they find the security officers holding Williams in a adjoining office for them. Pouring out documentations and files before the attorney they gather a confession from the lawyer.

"The question is why?" "Easy, I'm tired of my people being the subject of hanging." He explains that it works to intimidate whites to understand, what once were doesn't feel great when it's turned on you.

"Human stupidity at work." Says, Derek Coburn in amazement. Which is agreed by Charlie Breeze and a few, of his agents that worked overtime to track suspects only to see the hanging carried out, by one vengeful individual.

"God's people have a long way to go." Agent Breeze remark as he watch their suspect walk away with a smile upon his face. What so strange? He see this happening again but not sure about when.
