Rev. Al Sharpton Upset Over New York Post Comic of Chimpanzee Attack; is it Really Racist?

Chimpanzee attack comic; is bringing out the race card really necessary here?
The Rev. Al Sharpton is very upset over a comic that appeared in today edition of the New York Post. The comic is of two cops shooting a chimpanzee. The comic by Sean Delonas says: "Now they will have to find someone else to write the stimulus bill." I see this as referring to the recent shooting of that chimpanzee that attacked a woman. It is inferring, at worst, that the politicians signing the stimulus bill are like chimpanzees. It seems Al Sharpton is pulling the race card on this one. TMZ reported that Rev. Al Sharpton said, "The cartoon in today's New York Post is troubling at best given the historic racist attacks of African-Americans as being synonymous with monkeys." A storm is brewing between Lily Allen and Perez Hilton
Lily Allen told Access Hollywood reporter Billy Bush about her newest feud with Perez Hilton. The two were going back and forth on Twitter. Billy Bush was asking what the feud was about. Lily Allen said, "Because I hate him. He really pushes my buttons sometimes," Lilly called Perez a "little parasite" and a "bitter lonely old queen," on her tweets on Twitter, Access Hollywood reported. Seriously Lily needs to take a step back her. Most people in the US would not know who she was if it wasn't for Perez.
So, Perez has now posted a semi-nude photo that shows portions of Lily Allen's vagina. He posted a censored and uncensored version on his website here(warning: not safe for work). I wonder what Lily thinks of the photos? I thought the beef between 50 Cent and Rick Ross was bad; this is hysterical. Not long ago, Lily Allen threatened to post Katy Perry's phone number on Facebook. Someone needs to take a chill pill and possibly go back where they came from. According to Dr.Drew's tweet on Twitter, Lily Allen will be on Lovelines tonight.
Oh boy, that's a can't miss.

I am sorry to the whole world that this cartoon did NOT offend me, and especially to Mr. Sharpton, the self-elected conscience of the USA. I need sensitivity training so that I react properly to things he finds offensive. Heck, it never even crossed my mind that this was a reference to an African American, but to tell you the truth I did think the Chimps might get upset because they don't want to be associated with politicians. Come to think of it, though, they probably didn't read the bill either.
The NY Post and Sean Delonas should know the difference between funny and insulting. The comic was a personal attack to anyone of African-American decent and should never have been published. While I do agree that only Sean Delonas knows the true intentions of of this comic ad, such things should be given a second thought before offending an entire nationality.
It is absolutely amazing how for years those who are ignorant and unlearned have always expected that the black race should take and except WHATEVER IS DISHED OUT TO US. This so-called cartoon IS NOT A JOKE. We have a President in the White House who is for ALL THE PEOPLE and who actually has a heart for POOR PEOPLE and others are totally freaking out! NO ONE AND NOTHING WILL HARM PRESIDENT OBAMA because GOD, HIS BEAUTIFUL FAMILY AND PRAYERS FROM THE RIGHTEOUS GOT HIS BACK. SO TO ALL THE HATERS, Get over it, relax cause the President is here until God says different, let's learn to LOVE AND STOP ALL THIS TROUBLE MAKING STUFF THAT THE NEW YORK POST, RUSH AND HIS GOONS AND ANYBODY ELSE THAT HAS NO RESPECT FOR OUR PRESIDENT OR ANY PEOPLE OF COLOR.

I do not find this article amusing. In a time when the country on a whole is suffering, I think the Post could find something really funny to print to release some stress even if just for a moment. Anyone who does'nt detect a form of racisim in this article, but be living under a rock
This is not funny, and it is racist. Rev. Al is right. We all know that the blacks used to be depicted as monkeies. President Obama is just that our President, Get over it. One thing, I'm glad President Obama is letting this get him off the real issues.
All racist people normaly deny to be racist and don't want to be called racist. There are many books written about it. that's a 100% a racist cartoon and is outrageous to read some people here trying to defend it even obviouslly is a disrespectfull and racist cartoon. In my opinion everyone who is trying to defend it is because they are racist too. Mr. Sharpton may not be always right but this time he asserted 100%. The ones who did it shuould be punished for them to learn even a little bit about respect.
Well, what can clearly be said is that ignorance is not bliss. I would also say to those who are trying to infer that if this was done to a whiter person nothing would be said. Perhaps you are right. Oh well, I guess you can relate to being a monkey's uncle?
Al Sharpton isn't the ONLY one who's pissed. I am DISGUSTED at the New York Posts efforts to minimize their complete LACK of professionalism, taste and respect. I say, send the "artist" to N. Philly and let us deal with his punk ass.
