the truth unveiled
as though it were a towel
made of crumbling silk
and it was bliss
to hide behind those lips,
soft and aggressive,
yet easily that friendship
came across busy tracks,
made traffic swerve,
that premonition of a fatal crash,
what occurred? some would say,
as the heart of many all around
died out,
were there witnesses? but
none needed,
my own eyes fiery daggers,
but to run across the hallways,
and confront that villain in your arms,
an unlikely end
with all my might, I stopped my feet,
with all my strength, put the heels
on those speeding bullets,
no need for one more death,
when Love's flailing body
has been pierced, in the neck,
unable to breathe.
