There is a ton of research that suggests there are some very reversible reasons why you age. After all, illness is just turbo-aging. The body is breaking down faster than it can fix itself. According to the experts 35 per cent of what goes on inside us is genetic. That means that 65 per cent we have control over. That's empowering! In order to control that 65 per cent we need knowledge of how and why we age. Yes, we all have to die sometime, but we don't have to die prematurely. Wouldn't you rather end things by dropping like a ripe piece of fruit than by losing bits of yourself and suffering for a number of years? It is all possible.
Science is showing that the reason we age is an acidic body condition called acidosis. Acidosis causes silent inflammation in the body. This type of inflammation has virtually no symptoms until enough of it accumulates in the body. Then we start feeling it as fatigue, sore joints, breathing problems, digestive issues and a whole host of other symptoms. Too soon for most of us, we have a diagnosis and a disease. The only practiced next step is usually medication that attempts to control the symptoms and may gift you with side effects. There is another way.
In the forest, the acidity in the forest floor decomposes organic matter and provides nutrients for the forest to continue. It is the natural course of things. It's the way Nature works. The decomposition or break down that occurs inside of us is much like rusting or oxidation. It happens because we have acidic by-products from the digestion, assimilation and metabolism of what we eat and drink. It accumulates over the years and then we're in trouble.
If you remember your high school chemistry, you'll probably remember a little bit about acids and bases (which are alkaline). If you want to neutralize something that is acid, you add something alkaline. It's the same for your body but you have to be selective. Some alkaline substances like baking soda are not good for you . Since acidity in the body causes inflammation and inflammation causes aging, then if you alkalize the body, it becomes like a giant eraser and starts rubbing out symptoms and overt signs of aging like wrinkles and stiff joints.
The giant eraser can be alkaline foods, but not too many people are inspired to chew mounds of dark, green, leafy vegetables. The easiest way to alkalize the body is to drink alkaline, ionized water. Quite quickly, you will discover that your thirst mechanism turns on. I'll bet you never noticed that it was turned off. You may even crave the water once you start drinking it. Because alkaline, ionized water is in smaller cluster sizes the water is absorbed into the body almost instantly. It starts to alkalize and dissolve acidic body toxins so they can be excreted. As more toxins are excreted and more alkaline water enters your body, the more of the symptoms are erased. This water is also full of available oxygen so you feel brighter and more energetic.
Alkaline, ionized water also acts like an antioxidant in the body, giving available oxygen to free radicals to neutralize them and prevent more from forming. That's good news for the millions of people who have had poor diet choices.
If you have muscle or joint stiffness, or even soreness, by drinking alkaline, ionized water you will be hydrating the joint cartilage to the point where your flexibility will start to increase. In other words you will begin to erase one of the signs of aging. As your body hydrates, you will begin to erase more.
