When we pulled up to the hotel, our trunk was quickly unpacked and the car was whisked off for valet parking immediately. The exquisite marble lobby greeted us, full of beautiful, yet comfortable, furniture. The concierge and front desk staff were very friendly and helpful with answering all of our questions. Once we were welcomed to the hotel, our bags were taken to our room immediately.
We chose an Executive Suite, which was absolutely lovely. Upon entering, we found a small kitchenette with a sink, refrigerator and microwave as well as coffee and tea service. The room itself featured two queen-sized beds, a small desk and a beautiful accent chair. A plasma television, complete with Pay-Per-View service and Nintendo was placed on a large console table, where we kept our bags, phones and cameras.
The bathroom was also gorgeous, full of marble and beautiful scroll accents. The hotel offered complete bath necessities: shampoo, conditioner, hand & body soap and lotion. The shower was wonderful; it featured a shower massage and a beautifully designed curved shower rod, which allowed for much more shower space. The sink and vanity were equally beautiful, crafted from marble and adorned with a huge mirror.
The bed was very comfortable, and perfectly warm as we were covered in a lush duvet as well as a bedspread over top of our sheets. The pillows were fluffy and soft, and although I always travel with my own pillow, I would have found them to be satisfactory. The beds could have been a bit roomier, I felt like I didn't have the same amount of room as I do in my own bed, but I did sleep great every night I stayed at The Belvedere. I did hear some guests complaining about street noise, which is to be expected in a big city, but we did not experience any disturbance from outside the room.
We ate breakfast at The Belvedere Café located within the hotel. They offer a wide variety of choices and everything we had was quite tasty. They offer a buffet of specialty omelettes, bacon, sausage and ham, bagels, muffins, pancakes, toast, fresh fruit, spreads, coffee, tea and juice.
I couldn't be happier with the Belvedere Hotel and I will continue to tell everyone who asks for hotel recommendations about my stay there. The staff was knowledgeable and pleasant, the rooms were comfortable and sophisticatedly decorated, our dining experiences were superb, overall it was a great experience and I look forwarding to visiting them again.
