On average, every hobby box will include 3 Game Used Memorabilia Cards and 1 Oversized Mickey Mantle card. Topps has exclusive agreements with Mickey Mantle and Barry Bonds, so if you want to collect these players in 2006, you have to buy Topps' products. Every pack includes one of the following: a Sticker, a Comic, a Window Cling or a Stamp. Each hobby box will produce a combination of 24 of those cards.
2006 Topps Bazooka Baseball features a 220 card base set. The base set features 20 rookies for 2006. These cards are marked with the new MLB rookie logo from Topps. The set also features Mickey Mantle along with many of the top current players in baseball.
All 220 cards in the base set have the following parallels:
Fortune Parallel: inserted 1 per pack
Bazooka Chunks: inserted 1 per pack
The different Game Used Memorabilia Card Insert Sets that combine to produce 3 Game Used Memorabilia Cards per box are the following:
Blasts - 35 card set
Basics - 23 card set
Rewind - 54 card set
The inserts that combine to fall one per pack have the following odds of being in a pack:
4 on 1 Stickers (55 card set) - inserted 1 out of every 3 packs
Comics (24 card set) - inserted 1 out of every 4 packs
Window Clings (30 card set) - inserted 1 out of every 4 packs
Stamps (30 card set) - inserted 1 out of every 6 packs
While 2006 Topps Bazooka does not have a lot of autographs in its product, it does have one autograph set. This set is called Bazooka Signature Lines. It is a 10 card set. The Bazooka Signature Lines cards are inserted 1 per case. A case is between ten and twenty boxes on average.
2006 Topps Bazooka does not offer the collector much of a chance of hitting anything worth a lot. It is one of the most fun products to open though. Every box gets you three Game Used Memorabilia cards and a ton of fun inserts such as the stickers and stamps. If you buy a hobby box, you also get one of the oversized Mickey Mantle cards. These are very popular among collectors. 2006 Topps Bazooka also gives you a chance to pick up some rookie cards of the class of 2006 for a fraction of the price. Some of the rookies included are Francisco Liriano, Justin Huber, and Jeff Mathis.
