While Press Pass is a product that some collectors refuse to buy, it maintains to be a very popular product for two reasons. The first reason is that it simply comes out before all of the major brands make their releases, so people who want to start collecting their favorite 2007 rookies buy this product early. The other reason is that some collectors just like the idea that their favorite players are pictured in their college uniforms.
All of the top players in the 2007 NFL Draft are included in 2007 Press Pass Football including Brady Quinn, JaMarcus Russell, Dwayne Bowe and Marshawn Lynch, among others. 2007 Press Pass Football also offers the opportunity to pick up some cards of other young NFL stars such as Reggie Bush.
A box of 2007 Press Pass Football will cost around $100 for the first few months as it will be the hot product, but the price is certain to drop once other products begin being released. Packs shouldn't cost more than $4, although many shops will likely have higher price tags. If your shop is selling them for anything over $4, it might be wiser to buy on the internet.
A box of 2007 Press Pass Football will contain 28 packs, while each pack will offer four cards. Each box will also average four autographs. Game Used cards will be inserted one in every 72 packs, or one in about every three boxes.
The autographs in 2007 Press Pass Football will be the highlight of the set as they are in every Press Pass product. As there will be four autographs in each box, they will be inserted one in every seven packs.
There will be three different levels of autographs in 2007 Press Pass Football: bronze, silver and gold. Bronze autographs will feature the player's school logo. Silver autographs will feature the player's uniform number and will be numbered out of 200. Gold autographs will feature a pattern of X's and O's and will be numbered out of 100. There will also be Power Pick Autographs numbered out of 250.
Game used jersey cards will be found in a set called Gridiron Gamers with one inserted in every 72 packs.
Insert sets include Power Pick, Primetime Players and Reflectors. The Power Pick subset will be inserted two per box, one in every fourteen packs. Primetime Players will be inserted seven per box, one per every four packs. Reflectors will be numbered out of 500.
The 2007 Press Pass Football product should be another fun set to collect. If you want to buy a box of it, wait for a month or two until other products start coming out because the price will noticeably drop.
