There are 24 packs per box and 5 cards per pack. There is usually at least one letterman card in each box. Each pack is promised to contain at least one insert per box. There are variation cards of the base cards, these variations include autographs. The autographs are not promised in each box.
I pulled two letterman cards from my box. The players were: Howie Kendrick numbered 50/60 and Kevin Cameron rookie card 10/50. Howie Kendrick is pretty well-known so that was a good pull. Rookie cards are hit or miss because you never know how the player will do in the major league. Both letterman's were in great condition when I pulled them out of the pack.
Out of my inserts I had a few big names. Some of the players were: Ichiro, Alex Rodriguez, Lance Berkman, Frank Thomas, and more. The inserts highlight certain abilities of each player. An example would be Ichiro's insert, it highlighted the fact that he has great stats when it comes to stealing bases. I expected a little bit better from the inserts but it was not too bad. None of the inserts were numbered. At least there is an insert in each pack.
The base cards have a nice design and some really good players. The players that I pulled include: Derek Jeter, Ryan Zimmerman, Lance Berkman, Roy Oswalt, and ken Griffey Jr. I liked the design this year and the pplayers were pretty good, so that was nice.
Overall it was a pretty good box. I was hoping for bigger names for the inserts and letterman cards but you can't win with every box. None of the cards were damaged and I was pleased with what I got overall. Thanks for reading the review and feel free to check out my other hobby box reviews. I hope this review has helped you decide if it is a box you would like to invest in. Good luck with your collecting!
