Review of Affina Dumont Hotel in New York City

The Affinia Dumont Hotel is located in New York City. If you have ever dreamed of living in one of New York's best apartments or loft and that just never happened for you, don't despair you can still live your dream. Ok, you will only be able to live your dream temporarily, but if you stay at the Affinia Dumont you will get the chance to feel like you are living in a posh New York City apartment.

The great thing about staying here is that you can bring you children and they will feel right at home. They have large suites and can comfortably fit five people. I am telling you, you will feel like you are in a home and not a hotel and that is the beauty of staying at the Affinia Dumont Hotel.

One little detail that I have to bring up just because I am a girlie girl and these things really matter to me! In the bathroom they have all Aveda products in there for our use! I know it is really not that big of a deal, but really now what hotel practically gives you Aveda products?

What I really appreciate about this hotel is the fact that everything is super clean. The housekeeping here is truly top notch and they don't slack off. It really seems like they make it a point not to do surface level cleaning! This is the kind of hotel that you can feel safe in because hygiene and cleanliness is so important to them!

I was surprised that room service did not cost an arm and a leg. In fact, room service is solely through their on site restaurant. They have decent tasting food for a good price. The cool thing is that you can order pizza from them and that is an excellent choice for kids.

The suites love absolutely amazing. I tell you the rooms, the kitchen and the little dining area gives me decorating ideas for my future home. The best way to describe the decorating here is to think of a set up that you would see at Crate and Barrel and that will give you a pretty accurate idea of what to expect.

Another cool thing is that you will be able to walk to places. There is the Empire State Building. Also, there is the Macy's and the Central Station walking distance from the hotel. If you are ever in the mood for Italian there is a great place like around the corner to get some good grub from!
