Review of Air Wick, Glistening Cinnamon Roll Candle

Melanie Dee
Yesterday afternoon, I felt the fall season creeping up in the air, so naturally it put me in the mood to stock up on some new fall related fragrances. Although cinnamon rolls could be labeled as an all year round type of scent, I mostly associate the warm cinnamon gooey treats with the fall season.

I got pretty pleasant surprise in the store though when I came across freshly lined shelves of all new fragrances I have yet to come across.

I have personally never paid to much mind to Air Wicks, as the company in the past had managed to disappoint me time and time again. However when I came cross their Air Wick Glistening Cinnamon Roll Candle, and brought it up to my nose for a sample of the fragrance, I had a hunch that the company had finally decided to keep pace with their competitors, and by golly, they are doing a good job!

The candle came in a newly re-modified packaging as well, and I couldn't tell the difference between them, and my all time favorite, Febreze. Pretty packaging is key, but it's what's inside that keeps fans coming back.

I have to say though, when it comes to Air Wick, I will now be a lifelong fan due to this one particular candle.

Now in the store, it had a gorgeous warm, vanilla and cinnamon spice scent going on. Immediately I associated this warm scent to the fall season. I hoped however, that when I actually got home to light the candle, that it would actually smell as good burning, as it did without the wick being lit.

The Scent While Burning:

It took about 5 minutes for the scent to begin to permeate throughout the room, but once it did it was like being greeted with the Fall Fairy, and my God it smelled delicious. The cinnamon roll scent is present, but you do not get that fresh baked cinnamon roll vibe from this one. Instead you get put into a mood, one where you want to carve pumpkins, and get lost in a fall corn maze. It actually brings a sense of fall to you, and I'd consider this one a seasonal mood enhancer! Now there's an idea!

Overall:

I picked up this Air Wick candle on sale for $4.69, and it was and will continue to be, worth every cent. I also like that it works just as good as Febreze candles, and high end name brand candles like Yankee, for more than half their price!

My parting words are: I will race you to the store, because I'm stocking up!
