The Alaska Ridgetop Inn in Homer, Alaska is one of the most unique and special lodging facilities in the state of Alaska. Owners Alan and Mindy Parks have not only made the Alaska Ridgetop Inn available to visiting guests, but it is also their special home, too.

Mindy has many years of experience in the hospitality and health industries and she has many years of experience taking care of B&B guests and is an avid gardener and cook.

Alan has once been a commercial angler and a professional photographer for over thirty years. He also currently works for a non-profit agency known as the Alaska Marine Conservation Council, which helps to foster and sustain excellent fishing practices in Alaskan waters.

Alan and Mindy are professional business members of the Homer Chamber of Commerce, the Homer Bed & Breakfast Association and the Bed & Breakfast Association of Alaska.

The Alaska Ridgetop Inn offers lodging and dining facilities for Alaskan adventure and vacation seekers and even large groups who choose to travel thousands of miles to visit Homer, Alaska. Beautiful landscaped lawns and gardens surround the inn itself and it offers its guests special wedding packages, workshops and meetings for its guests. The Alaska Ridgetop Inn is also featured in Alaska Frommer's 2007.

The owners of the Alaska Ridgetop Inn also serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and beverages to all of their guests everyday while the are staying with them. Mindy and Alan even offer natural locally made bath products to their guests from Alpenglow Skin Care. Then inn itself can easily accommodate up to twelve guests at a single time.

The main floor of the Alaska Ridgetop Inn has central living areas that include 10 ft. tall windows, vaulted ceilings, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room, a living room and even a sunroom with scenic vistas of Kachemak Bay, mountains and glaciers. The main living room of the Inn also overlooks a pond and a garden. There is even an old-fashion wood cook stove in the living room where guests can gather around on cold nights to warm themselves up, socialize and relax.

There are 3 guestrooms and a very large common area located on the ground floor inside the Alaska Ridgetop Inn. All of the guestrooms have their own private entrances, private bathrooms, and large windows. Even the main ground floor of the inn is completely handicapped accessible, including the "Paradise" and "Fireweed" rooms. All of the guestrooms at the Alaska Ridgetop Inn even feature art from local Alaskan artists, such as Annette Bellamy, Alex Combs, Barb Wyatt and Judy Winn.

Within easy driving distance of the Alaska Ridgetop Inn, guest have immediate access to kayaking, fishing, boating, horseback riding, nature trail hiking, beach combing, wildlife viewing and bird viewing, just to name a few.     Huh...when I worked for alan in the summer of 2010, I witnessed him sleeping with his beer-whore deckhand who he flew up from Montana about 7 hours after calling his wife & sending her flowers via credit card on their anniversary...

    This guy is the biggest example of loudmouthed-hypocrisy & b.s. environmentalism i've ever seen. He's a small-minded blowhard that feels pride when he successfully screws people over when unspoken trust is to be cashed in on.
