When you enter the restaurant, you are immediately surrounded by the sounds of Mexican music and the décor of a Mexican hacienda with colorful paintings and decorations covering the walls. The restaurant is very large--there are several sections for dining that include tables and booths for patrons to dine at.
As soon as you are seated, fresh tortilla chips and salsa are placed on your table. Aleyda's chips and salsa are the best around. The salsa has a bite to it, but it's not overly spicy and the cilantro gives it a nice taste. The chips and salsa are bottomless, so don't be afraid to eat up.
Aleyda's extensive menu features an array of Tex-Mex specialties consisting of meat, chicken, and vegetarian dishes, all prepared with the freshest ingredients. Monday through Friday 11AM-2PM, Aleyda's offers patrons an all you can eat lunch buffet that consists of burritos, tacos, nachos, and much more. During lunch and dinner, you can also enjoy Tex-Mex appetizers, soups, salads, and desserts.
The fajitas are my favorite menu item. They are brought sizzling to the table with soft tortillas, cheese, sour cream, guacamole, and rice and beans. I always order the veggie fajitas with rice and refried beans and there is always enough left over for two more meals at home because the portions are so large.
The enchiladas are also a good choice at Aleyda's. The enchilada sauce is impeccable tasting and the cheese that is melted over the top is mouth watering. I also love the yellow rice that accompanies all of the entrees.
If you are in the mood for a margarita, then Aleyda's is the right place for you. The restaurant has several different flavors of award winning margaritas all served in giant margarita glasses.
In addition to the great food and drinks, Aleyda's wait staff are always efficient. The food is delivered quickly and whatever you require, the wait staff will happily bring it to your table.
For lunch or dinner, Aleyda's is the only place for authentic Tex-Mex cuisine in Palm Beach County. Aleyda's is open from 11AM-10PM Monday through Thursday, 11AM-11PM Friday and Saturday and from 4PM-9PM on Sundays.
