This brand new magazine (only in its second issue as of this writing) is the perfect magazine for today's busy woman. There's really no excuse for you to say you don't have time to read it. It's a fairly thin publication, but it's jam packed with helpful information. Each article or feature is written internet style - it's brief, to the point, and contains bullet points. There are no lengthy articles (not that I am opposed to them, but some people are). It's the type of magazine that you can read while you are stirring the spaghetti or rocking your little one to sleep on a rocking chair. Since the articles are so short you don't have to get deeply engrossed in it to get something out of it. And each article is accompanied by some really great photography.
All the material published in All You, at least in my opinion, is rather useful for women. There are tasty recipes, advice on spending less money, tips for losing weight, ways to improve your hairstyle, and so much more. Here are the categories on the table of contents:
Your self
Your health
Your world
Your home
In every issue (this has a shopping guide to purchase items found in the magazine, menu planners, movie, music, and book reviews, and so much more.
Three other things I really love about All You magazine are the "Tip Strips" that are printed with many of the sections. They are some what like a sidebar with helpful information that compliments the article that you just read, but it's printed on the side of the article and is the length of the entire magazine. You can cut them out and hang them up on a bulletin board or somewhere for quick reference.
Additionally, the magazine created "Reality Checkers" which is online community for the magazine. You can register to test new products, attend All You events, take part in beauty makeovers if you are chosen, and offer your opinion on things which may eventually end up in the magazine. As you read All You, you see information from these "Reality Checkers" all over the place. I love that All You, and so many other publications are doing that now. Now the reader gets the point of view of the editor of the magazine, the article writer, and the general public. This way we can read more opinions and get a fresh take on things rather than the sometimes stale thoughts of the magazine's staff.
Finally, I am a coupon queen and All You offers coupons on products in their advertisements throughout the entire publication. February's issue has over $33. Not too shabby!
At $1.97, All You is truly worth it. And if you sign up for a subscription for a year it will cost $1.77. (I know I paid $10, but that was for a fund raiser. Sorry!) Enjoy!
