Almost Home Accommodations Bed & Breakfast is a 675 square foot lodging facility that is located on two acres of private property in Homer with spectacular vistas of mountains and glaciers that are located on the far side of Kachemak Bay from Homer.

The B&B is easily located within the city limits of Homer and an easy few minutes drive from the downtown area. Almost Home Accommodations Bed & Breakfast also has a newly constructed cabin with an upper and a lower unit inside of it.

Inside the newly constructed cabin, the lower unit is known as the "Bear's Den" and can easily accommodate up to 6 people. It offers its guests full kitchen facilities, one bedroom with a queen size bed, a second bedroom with two twin beds, a full size living room with a full size futon and bathroom, and patio doors that open unto a large private deck that is perfect for outdoor barbeque grilling.

The upper unit inside the newly constructed cabin is known as the "Eagle's View" and can easily accommodate up to 8 people. The "Eagle's View" has cathedral ceilings and customs windows. It offers a fully equipped kitchenette, a full size refrigerator, a microwave, a toaster, a coffee pot, and electric frying pan and a crock-pot. There is also a very large living room and a full size private bathroom.

There are two bedrooms in the "Eagle's View". The first bedroom has one queen size bed and the other bedroom has two twin beds. The living room is also furnished with two full size futons and shares the private deck that is downstairs from the "Bear's Den". The propane grill on the private deck also includes a side burner for extra cooking space.

Both the "Bear's Den" and the "Eagle's View" include special amenities, such as a VCR, cable television, linens and are also fully stocked with a wide assortment of selected coffee and teas. Each unit is also fully stocked with hot and cold cereals for breakfast.
