Alpenglow Chalet Bed & Breakfast is one of the most beautiful and interesting B&B homes that you could ever discover in Homer, Alaska. It offers its guests the perfect place for their special vacationing needs, including special events like weddings, aniverseries, birthdays, small groups or even local community workshops.
Alpenglow Chalet Bed & Breakfast was built back in 1998 as a 1,800 square foot custom tri-level chalet-style home. It was remodeled in 2005 as a popular B&B and vacation rental home in Homer, Alaska. The B&B has porcelain tile and wood floors, including very beautiful natural pine beams, ceilings, walls and trim.
Alpenglow Chalet Bed & Breakfast is currently located among scenic northern hills, and about a five-minute drive from downtown Homer. The B&B also offers its guests spectacular vistas of mountains, glaciers and the famous Homer Spit while being surrounded by native Sitka roses, birch trees and pine trees.
Alpenglow Chalet Bed & Breakfast can easily accommodate up to twelve guests on three different levels and includes great amminities, such as a fully furnished kitchen, a living room, a large family recreation room with a TV/DVD/VCR combo, a washer and dryer and a full size freezer.
The first level of the B&B offers guests a private back entrance with an outside sitting area, a queen size bed, a private bathroom and a large family recreation room with a queen size futon.
Other amenities on the first level include phones, a TV/VCR/DVD combo, a microwave oven, a coffee maker, a toaster oven, and even a small refridgerator. There is also a washer and dryer and an iron with an ironing board also available for guests to use while staying on the first level of the B&B.
The second level of the B&B offers guests the main entrance to the chalet with no steps and is handicapped accessible. It also has a queen size bed, a telephone, a TV, a private bathroom, a fully furnished kitchen and dining room, and there is even a full size living room with sleeping space for two other additional guests.
The third level of the B&B offers guests a loft that overlooks the second level living room and dining room with a 20 ft. vaulted ceiling. The loft area includes a queen size bed and a sitting area with a cozy loveseat.
If you are looking for a really great and reasonably priced B&B to rent during your next adventure vacation trip to Homer, Alaska, then I would highly recommend staying at Alpenglow Chalet Bed & Breakfast for their warm and very friendly Alaskan hospitality and quality service as B&B hosts.
