I am bad about taking vitamins, so anytime I can get some down without going to extra effort is a good thing. Aquafina Alive Wellness Water does have vitamins in it, but the amount is negligible. You get 10% of your daily value of Vitamin E, Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12, and niacin from this water. So basically, the vitamins are in the water to move product off the shelves, not to serve as a liquid GNC.
The flavor I tried was Berry-Pomegranate. The two other flavors are Peach-Mango and Orange-Lime. Aquafina Alive Wellness Water is the most natural-tasting flavored water I've ever had. It is sweetened with white grape juice, aspartame, and acesulfame potassium. Its taste is superior to that of some flavored waters I've had that were sweetened with Splenda. This is good or bad, depending on how you feel about aspartame. Some believe that aspartame is very unhealthy in any amount, with the capacity to create serious health problems. I'm not going to go into all that, but the idea of a drink promoted as healthy being chock full of things that are bad for you is kind of symbolic of our relationship to what we consume. The vitamins are there to move product, and the aspartame is there to make it tasty.
Aquafina Wellness Water is only 10 calories per serving, with 2 grams of carbohydrates. It comes in 20 ounce bottles and six packs of 16.9 ounce bottles.
missing from my nutritionally-bankrupt diet. When it comes to taste, it certainly delivers. Enjoy your flavored water, and pop a vitamin while you're at it.
