Review: Artemis Woman Body Polisher

My birthday was a few months ago. My wonderful husband came home with a very lovely gift. He knows how much I adore time to myself. So his gift was the Artemis Woman Body Polisher. Looking at the box it seemed like a wonderful concept. But would it really work? I mean I have used lots of long handled brushes in the bath and shower and they work well enough, what made this one so special?

After using this body polisher several times, I can tell you for sure that this is a very special bath brush. It is not just a bath brush though! Included in this set you find a nice long plastic handle, a rotating head, a brush attachment, a pumice attachment, an AC adapter and a tube of Healing Gems Body Polish. This polisher rotates to scrub your body in all of the hard to reach spots. The polisher is already charged so all you have to do is take it out of the box and use it! It is perfect for scrubbing your back, but also great for your entire body! You can either use the polisher attached to the long handle or use it as a hand-held unit.

Positives
Waterproof - Of course, if you are using this in the tub or shower it only makes sense for it to be completely waterproof. However, many items that are waterproof still hold water and then get mold and mildew and you have to dispose of them. Not this product! All you have to do if water gets into the handle is hold it on its end and all of the water will drain out, keeping the inside of handle nice and clean so you can continue to use it as long as you want! Which believe me, will be forever!

Cordless - Another huge no-no for water, electricity. This unit is cordless so there are no worries about submersing it in water. The AC adapter must be kept away from water and you should never use the unit while it is plugged in to the adapter.

Rechargeable - No batteries to purchase for this! In a family with a million children's toys that is a huge bonus for me! It seems like every thing in my home literally eats batteries, so the fact that I will never have to buy batteries for this body polisher is an excellent benefit. Plus, a single charge lasts quite some time. I have had this body polisher for over 3 months now and I have only had to charge it twice. With the charge that was already on the body polisher when I received it that makes 3 charges in 3 months.

Warranty and Money back Guarantee - This product comes with a limited 1 year warranty, and also a 90 day money back guarantee. I doubt that I will need the warranty since the body polisher is so well made, and I do not want my money back, because I am thoroughly pleased with my body polisher.

Attachments - The body polisher comes with two different attachments. A brush head, and a pumice stone are both included in the box when you purchase the body polisher. You can easily interchange between the two attachments for whatever you need at the time. The soft bristled brush is great to use with the included body polish or any other bath and shower gel. It easily foams up the soap into a nice bubbly lather and scrubs off any dirt and dead skin. The pumice stone works wonders on dry patches. It is amazing for those rough patches that we all get on our feet.

As far as I can tell there are not any negatives for this product. I have not had any problems with my body polisher. It works as it should and exceeded my expectations for a bath scrub brush. The only part of this product that I find questionable is the healing gems in the body polish. According to the bottle there are actual gemstone crystals inside the body polish. I do not know very much about gem therapy, but I have not noticed any change in my skin's health using this product. however, the strong lavender smell is wonderfully soothing. It is no more relaxing than my other lavender bath wash products though. The smell is wonderful and it does get my body clean!

According to the Artemis Woman web site you can purchase this kit for $39.99. You can also purchase new attachments for $14.99 when they need to be replaced. You can also find a location near you where you can purchase these products in person. This was a gift, so I am not sure how much was paid for my body polisher kit. however, I can promise you it was worth every penny! Everyone in my family loves using this body polisher. My youngest child also gets a huge benefit from this since she has severe eczema it really assists us in getting all of the dead and dry skin off of her body, which helps her to heal. This was an unforeseen benefit in the purchase of this product.

If you come across this body polisher in a store, do not pass it by. It is an amazing product that I wanted to make sure everyone was aware of!
