The product is a handheld, scrub brush looking device. It uses finely ground quartz and sugar crystals to exfoliate. The quartz include amethyst, tourmaline, rose quarts, topaz, and clear quartz. These are meant to provide balance and energy. Then, pure essential oils are infused into the skin.
The package includes an exfoliating sponge, facial massage, brush attachments, and a small jar of Healing Crystal Facial Scrub. This scrub really did work well but since I did not know where to buy a replacement for it I have just been using my old facial cleanser with the brush since I ran out.
The directions on the box say to use the product twice a week but I find myself using it almost every day because I like the way it makes my skin feel. The product comes with two brushes. There is one for normal skin and one for sensitive skin. I put the sensitive skin brush on because I use it so often and I have found that this combination works well. The unit is waterproof so I can keep it in the shower and save myself a few minutes each morning.
This product fits nicely in my bathroom. It uses batteries so there is no charging base to take up space on my countertop. The silver color also matches the handles and drawer pulls in my bathroom.
If you have more than mild acne, you may not want to use this product. Using your regular cleanser after the crystals may also help you to prevent any acne from appearing.
I would recommend this product if you are looking for something that will exfoliate and make your skin feel smooth. I have been using it for just over a year and it still works as well as when it was new. The product has enough power to work effectively and the batteries last for a couple months at a time.
