Review: Artemis Woman Heel Smoother Pro Pedicure Device

Becky D
After trying everything from the PedEgg to a pumice stone to those plastic sticks covered with sandpaper, I finally gave in and spent $30 on the Artemis Woman Heel Smoother Pro Pedicure Device and will never turn back. This product is great for smoothing out all of the rough patches of skin on your feet in no time. As a runner, my feet accumulate calluses like crazy from rubbing against my sneakers all the time and this product removes them quickly and easily.

There are two DuraCrystal tips for the device - a small one and a large one. The small one works great for toes and the front of your feet, while the larger one is perfect for your heels. Replacements for these can be purchased for $12, but I have been using the product for 4 months and have yet to need replacements. A jar of Topaz Foot Butter is also included. The foot butter is good but I would not bother purchasing it again. Any foot cream will do.

The device is waterproof so I can take it in the shower with me. This is great because the dead skin rinses down the drain instead of going all over the place so that I have to clean it up. Two AA batteries power the machine and the batteries last for a long time.

Using this product once a week allows me to maintain my smooth feet. I find that wearing heels and dress shoes causes my feet to be rougher than sneakers so if I have to dress up a lot I may do it a little more often. It only takes about two or three minutes once a week to keep my feet looking nice. The first time I used the product, it took me about 10 minutes to clean my feet up, but the maintenance now is much quicker and easier. It is so much faster and less work than scrubbing for minutes with a pumice stone.

Another great feature of this product is that the smaller tip can be used to keep your toenails in shape. I use them to file the nails down as well as clearing off the dead skin that accumulates around the cuticles.

I am very excited that I can now wear sandals and open backed shoes without being embarrassed of my feet anymore. Nothing else I have tried has given me results close to this.
