If you are looking for a netbook that is great for power users and is good for traveling, the Asus Eee PC 1005PE is just what you'll need. This $380 netbook is very efficient in both power and performance, as the processor integrates everything into one package for optimal performance, and the battery life is outstanding compared to other models. Though these perks are enough to make any techie individual who is interested in portable computing with some of the best equipment, there are some other cool perks that you really need to know about.

Asus Eee PC 1005PE Review: The Look and Feel

If you are a traveler, you will be glad to know that this particular computer is small enough to sit on an airplane tray, leaving you with enough room for a drink and a snack. The computer has a nice glossy appearance, and it comes in two colors-navy and black. In addition, this computer is very light weight and can fit comfortably in a large pocketbook. If you are used to bigger keys and do not really like the small keyboard on a netbook or if you have big fingers, you will be happy to know that this netbook has fat keys. The only bad things about this computer are that the glossiness makes it easy to attract finger prints, and the bottom does not match the top on the navy colored one.

Asus Eee PC 1005PE Review: The Spects

As far as the spects on the Asus Eee PC 1005PE are concerned, the Asus Eee PC 1005PE has a single-core 1.66GHz Intel Atom processor, 5,400rpm 250GB hard drive, a standard six cell battery that supplies the Asus Eee PC 1005PE with eight hours of battery life because the computer uses twenty percent less battery life compared to previous models, Windows 7 starter Edition, three USB ports, VGA/Ethernet/SD card slot, a headphone jack and a microphone jack. There is also a SIM card slot inside the battery compartment, which is an added bonus. The only bad thing is that the Asus Eee PC 1005PE only comes with one gig of ram, which is not a whole lot when it comes to running any version of Windows 7. If you want more ram, you will have to add it yourself. Other than that, the spects are outstanding. Most programs launch quickly. Individuals can speedily browse the web, and watching YouTube videos and other online videos is not a problem at all.

Overall, this particular netbook is awesome. It is one model that a travel techie should want to have in their possession.
