What makes the Atlantic's Satellite Speaker Stands so great is the ability to customize and position your home theater speakers in the best possible spot and at the optimum listening height. Many people opt to mount their speakers from the wall or ceiling but that can often lead into an extraordinary amount of work for the average consumer. You may have to run expensive and excessively long cable behind walls, in the attic or down through your basement. Not to mention all of the fuss of rewiring and mounting your speakers if you decided to rearrange furniture or your home theater system itself.
Using floor speaker stands can help out tremendously when it comes to cost and time. You can easily position and reposition with great ease. You won't have to put any holes in your walls or run extra long wiring to get great sound!
The Atlantic name has always been associated with good quality products and their new satellite speaker stands holds the maker to its promises. Upon first inspection, I thought the sleek lines and sturdy build of the speaker stands would go great with the rest of my equipment and décor. These affordable mounts come in two pair and the color I happened to pick that matched my system was the black variation.
I was pleased to read from the manufactures box that the Atlantic set is compatible with most name brand and off brand home theater cube speaker makes. They do not take up a large foot print in my crowded living room, which is an added bonus. Setting up was a breeze and compared to other speaker stand manufacturers, Atlantics was amongst the most affordable.
Your speaker wires are hidden by running them through the middle of the pole and you can adjust the height up to fifty inches. The stands feel very substantial as they are made out of high quality cast iron. Accidently knocking speaker stands over is a thing of the past with these because of most of the weight being carried at the base of the stands. This also allows you to mount heavier speakers without a problem, up to 2lbs per speaker stand.
The only issue I have is that it would be more desirable if the stands were sold individually. Because they are sold in pairs, I had to purchase six stands in order to complete my 5.1 system. But due to the extraordinary savings over other brands, I can't complain that much.
I recommend these stands for any home theater enthusiast that wants to save time and money. To date the speaker stands that I purchased are still new and function the same as the day I bought them!
