There are plenty of amenities offered at Bal Harbour. The room selections include 14 different styles, with 11 of those styles having kitchenettes. This is a nice feature as it helps you save some money while at the beach. Despite the large variety of rooms, they will need fit very large families. The rooms will accommodate anywhere from two to six people. The Bal Harbour Hotel has a coin operated laundry for guests, and also offers garage parking.
The Bal Harbour Hotel itself has plenty to entertain you and your family with the highlight being four different pools. These ocean view pools at Bal Harbour include three for young children. There are two that are one foot in depth, one that is two feet in depth, and a pool for adults as well. Other entertainment options include the arcade and gift shop located at the Bal Harbour Hotel. If you enjoy the beach, you will enjoy the private entrance to Wildwood, New Jersey's large clean beaches. These beaches are much larger than many other tourist destination beaches on the east coast.
The location of the Bal Harbour Hotel is not great if you are a fan of the entertainment options on the boardwalk. Even though it is not far from the southern end of the boardwalk, the entertainment is concentrated in the center of Wildwood's boardwalk. There is plenty of shopping though on the southern end if that is what interests you. There is also a tram car that you can ride from the southern end to anywhere on the boardwalk you wish.
The problem with the Bal Harbour Hotel isn't that it doesn't offer enough amenities. The problem with it is the fact that for what it costs for a family to stay there during the peak summer vacation season the amenities are overpriced. Rooms range from $220 to $400 per night during the peak summer vacation season in Wildwood, New Jersey at the beach.

Post a CommentI made my reservations at the Bal Harbour in December 2010 for July 2011. When I received by first statement I contacted the hotel to ask why they charged me $98.00 for a special room request I didn't ask for an actual room number, just what they offer in their brochure. The statement did not reflect my free breakfast for 3 days The Manager was very nasty and said if I call again to question the bill he would cancel my reservation and return my deposit. He actually called me a pain in the #$%$ If my chidlren didn't already book their time off of work, I would of cancelled my reservation in a heart beat. They were so looking forward to this trip and I couldn't disapoint them. The hotel is old and out dated, the toilet paper very thin, towels are thin, no lights in the closets. The cleaning staff couldn't speak English and hung out side your door and knocking on your door to clean your room. What hotel staff does that. Parking spaces our tight and even though you have two families you can only park one car. I was told when I booked the reservation I could have two parking spaces. Guess what, it didn't happen. When I received my final statement, my original deposit was not posted. I did call back and they had to research the payment. It did get corrected, but it was not from the Manager. Also, the pools close at 7:00 pm and I think that is terrible.Don't stay at the Bal Harbor. Over priced and the people are nasty at the desk. When you checked out, you would think they would say hope you had a great vacation. Not.However, the resturant personnel were very nice, they must not belong to the hotel. I made sure I told them they were the nicest people their.
Horrible%252C horrible%252C horrible and way over priced. Stayed the first few days of August 09. The rooms are dingy%252C dirty and the pool area is the same. Walking through the hallways made one feel as though they were walking to the electric chair. The elevators never worked correctly and when they did one waited forever. I don%2527t mind using stairs but even the stairways seemed like a trip though hell. DON%2527T WASTE YOUR MONEY%253E
Do Not stay at the Bal Harbour Hotel in Wildwood, NJ. My family and I booked 4 nights in the June of 2009 and left after one night because the manager refused to turn on the air conditioning!! Then they wouldn't give us a refund because we checked out after 11 to go to a hotel that had enough money to pay thier electric bill and turn on the A/C. The A/C was not broke or being repaired....they were too broke to turn it on for us!! Worst hotel I ever stayed in, don't waste your money!!!
