Homer, Alaska is one of those rare jewels of Alaska that is nestled 226 road miles south of Anchorage at the very end of the Kenai Peninsula. If you do not want to take your golf clubs with you to Homer, you can easily rent your clubs at the Kachemak Bay Lynx Par 3 Golf clubhouse, which is located right next to the golf course. The clubhouse offers an excellent pro shop, along with a full assortment of beverages and snacks.

However, be warned that will not find two things at the clubhouse. You will not find a golf cart to drive around and you will not find a caddy to carry your golf clubs for you. The benefits to these losses, however, is that you will get plenty of exercise while carrying your golf clubs to every hole on the course, and you can tee-off at anytime you want during the day or night.

Within easy driving distance from A Bed & Breakfast on the Green, you will have easy access to many wonderful outdoor recreation opportunities in Homer like kayaking, horseback riding, white water rafting, float trips, fly fishing, canoeing, salmon and halibut fishing, and even four-wheeling on popular Honda all-terrain vehicles.

The second room is "The Angler". It offers warm wood tones and rich floral décor with one queen size bed, a double sofa sleeper in a sitting alcove, a private bath with shower and a wonderful view of the scenic hills to the North of Homer.

The third room is the "Whale's Tale". It is located on the lower level of the house and offers a light and airy contemporary décor with one queen size bed, a private bathroom and a separate room with two sinks. It also offers a very nice scenic southern view of the Kachemak Bay Lynx Par 3 Golf course fairway and the beautiful and rugged mountains and glaciers located across Kachemak Bay.

The fourth room is the "Moose". It offers a light and airy contemporary décor with one queen size bed and it has a bathroom with a shower down the hall from the room. Like the "Whale's Tale" room, it also offers a very nice scenic southern view of the Kachemak Bay Lynx Par 3 Golf course fairway and the beautiful and rugged mountains and glaciers located across Kachemak Bay.

The fifth room is the "Sea Lion". It is located on the same floor as the "Moose" room and the "Whale's Tale" room, which is on the lower level of the house. The "Sea Lion" is a slightly larger room with warm wood tones and rich floral décor. It offers one queen size bed and an attached bathroom with a shower with a wonderful view of the scenic hills to the North of Homer.
