Susan Brown
Are you tired of the same old hotel whenever you go out of town? You know the kind - the kind that you can't wait to get out of there in the morning, and then worry all day about what the housemaid may be doing in your stuff? Well fret no more, because if you are headed to the Wilmington, NC area and are looking for lodging, then you may want to try a gorgeous and comfortable bed and breakfast called the C.W. Worth House.

Sitting pretty (literally) in the historic section of Wilmington, this bed and breakfast is a real gem in a sea of tourist lodging and attractions. It's rich in history as well as charm, and it's a place where you can experience Southern hospitality the way it was meant to be!

With seven different and beautiful guestrooms to choose from, you may find that you want to spend your whole vacation right inside this inn! It's a real haven to just relax and enjoy life. Check out all the distinct rooms, like the Hibiscus Room that has a table for two (perfect for you and your sweetheart), a two-person whirlpool, and a really nice Victorian décor going on with its antique queen size bed, Victorian love seat, and pretty fireplace. Or, instead, go with the Azalea Suite with a gorgeous king size plantation bed, large windows, and a romantic claw foot tub. There is also the charming Rose Suite with a four post king size bed, a private sitting area, and a large claw foot tub.

Opened as a bed and breakfast back in 1985, but it's history goes much further back to 1889 when Charles Worth purchased the property and resided there with his family until 1930. He bought the property, demolished the house that had been standing there, and built the gorgeous building that is now the bed and breakfast.

Check out the website listed above for lots of great pictures so that you can really get a feel for this lovely inn! Make your reservations and have the best time of your life in Wilmington!

And remember that a stay at the C.W. Worth House can be the absolute perfect gift to your sweetheart this weekend - someone else to clean up and pick up, someone else to cook breakfast (and serve it to you!), and a really comfortable room with a view in a beautiful city that has lots of activities and attractions! It's time to escape the same boring gifts you've been giving her and give her something that she can remember forever!
