Review: Benefit a Little Bit BADgal Lash Mascara

I cannot count the number of mascaras that I have tried over the years, in fact I do not want to because then I will realise how much money I have spent on them! I have tried everything from cut price to high-end mascaras to find just the right one, and I have recently found it!

I tried Benefit BADgal lash because it was a giveaway in a magazine I bought, you got a free little tube worth about £9, I had no intention of reading the magazine, I bought it solely because I had heard such great things about Benefit cosmetics, but could never really justify spending that much on make up!

The packaging:

Fairly basic, plain black glossy tube with a silver lid and black and hot pink writing, nothing too special there, not from a company who seem to love decorating their packaging with pictures and funny slogans.

The product:

It has a fairly basic thick brush and the mascara itself goes on really easily and leaves no clumps! This was a real bonus for me as I have bought "no clump" mascaras before that have not been true to their word! The black one I bought was a proper black colour, none of that charcoal grey nonsense. It was shiny and gave the lashes a noticeable, but subtle look.

I only needed one coat to enhance my eyelashes dramatically; it lifts and fans out your lashes at the same time, so there is really no need for eyelash curlers. Of course, you can use more than one coat for a more dramatic look, but I found one coat perfectly sufficient for a daytime look.

Staying power: This stayed on my lashes and not on my skin all day, and it also did not give me that dry prickly sensation that I get with many other mascaras, even in the heat.

In short, if you want to really enhance your eyelashes and bring your eyes out, this mascara will do just that!
