This game is superb - one of the best world war games out there - but I still think that brothers in arms hells highway is better.The graphics are the best I have personally seen on the PS3 console - only slightly better than COD4. The environments are spectacular - whether your in a jungle or a town street - it looks awesome - as good as looking out of the window at the same environments. There was times where i would cease fire and just look at how spectacular the environments are.

The character models aren't the best I have seen - but they are very good - and like the rest of the game feels very lifelike. The guns look awesome - although the guns available are standard for the war games - they look awesome - they feel so powerful - and there is so much ammo around. I have to say the addition of the flamethrower is really good - once you get your hands on this - you can enjoy the amazing fire effects - and the easy time you get - you basically sail through.The sound is just like the graphics - awesome. The guns sound so realsitic it is unbelievable - the character voices are very good - the voice acting is superb. The bombs sound a bit weak in my opinion - but they do the job if you cook them.

The sound of the rain - the sound of the enemy dying - the sound of the water - the wind - all sounds awesome - you really feel that you are in the war and fight for your survival. Everything sounds awesome overall - sound is very important in games - and the sound takes this game to the next level.The Gameplay is also very good - there are so many enemies to kill - and the firefights are so intense - you find yourself ducking for cover and using some tactics to force the enemy back. I do feel that a cover system should have been added - I mean if I was in a war - I would appreciate the ability to use objects as cover properly instead of just ducking behind them.

The environments are stunning - and the objectives get you to explore these environments - you will be taken to many areas such as the jungle and the street. You will have to take out tanks - call air strikes - disable AA guns - take out hiding snipers. The gameplay is so good - its so fun to play - its so fun I completed the campaign in one sitting (8 hours).There are many things i like about this game;

I like the camouflage enemies that hide in the trees.
I like the ability to lay on your stomach and sliver across the floor to stay out of site.
I like the similarities to COD4.The story is pretty much the same as all of the other world war 2 games - but it tells the story well. The campaign is slightly longer than COD4 which is good. There are so many missions I can remember - my favorite missions usually come when along with Dimitri - he is a really good character - the stealth parts are particularly well done.

The Multiplayer is where the game really excels though, there is a ranking system in place which adds so much replay value, you can reach Level 65 and then go through about 10 Prestige Modes, which does not get boring. There are lots of challenges to complete, and basically always something to do. The range of weapons is superb, and there is such a variety of maps to explore.

The Online play is smooth and only occasionally will the server time out, but it is so easy to find another game, it is easy to overlook. There are so many modes, one of the most popular is Headquaters, where each time fight to secure the Headquaters, and once secured the other team will fight to destroy that Headquaters, it is one of the easiest ways to build points.

One of the best parts of this game is the external Mode called Nazi Zombies, this is the Game Mode, that makes this game special, with 4 Maps available, you basically get swarms of Zombies after you, you earn cash for Killing the Zombies and spend that Cash on Weapons and Upgrades. During the game there are also portions of help available, once in a while you will either get Max Ammo, Insta - Kill, The Ablity to kill all zombies in range or Double Points. This makes the game much more playable.

The Online Play never really gets boring because The Developers create and Release new maps, users are able to pay for these if they wish and therefore add replay value.

Overall the game is superb and really shows what the PS3 can do - it shows also that there is still life in the WW2 games.
