Review of the Best Chicago Vegetarian Restaurants

SDR2010
Over the last few years I have become a vegetarian because I do not have very much money to spend on food. If you eat meat then you usually spend more money on food. Also, I found that when I went to places like Burger King to get food I would get hard pieces of bone and various other things in my burgers, so I stopped eating meat and became a vegetarian. I usually go out to eat at least twice a week and I visited Chicago for the holidays recently so I was able to find some great places to eat there. I was told by many of the locals that the food wasn't any good but I decided to give the local places a shot and I loved the experience.

Mana Food Bar is probably my favorite vegetarian restaurant to eat at because of the beautiful presentation. Everything is served on beautiful plates and presented like art. The food looks so good that you almost don't want to eat it. Their raw pasta and watermelon sampler dish is my favorite because it tastes wonderful. They are open from 4pm to 10pm and the address is 1742 W Division St. Their lasagna is also very good and it costs about $9 for the small portion which I found filling. If you want to dress up then this is probably the best place to go.

El Faro Restaurant is another restaurant that I love to go to because they have a large selection. You should go here when you don't want to dress up. I had their Pozole Verde and it was a great dish served with rice. It costs about $7 and the waiter was very nice. They are open from 5am-10pm and their address is 3936 W 31st St. I would say the average dish here is about $7 so you would save more money than at the previous option.

Victory's Banner is another place that I would suggest if you are looking for breakfast or lunch. They are open from 8am to 3pm and located at 2100 W Roscoe St. I love their Veggie Delight omelet because it includes plenty of fresh tomatoes and mushrooms. It costs about $10 but it is well worth the price. You can also get a breakfast combo with fewer eggs for about $8 and some French toast. This place is well worth the money and I suggest you go.
