Review of the Best Italian Restaurants in Columbia, SC

There are many Italian restaurants in Columbia but not all of them are worth spending your money on. Some of the best Italian restaurants I've eaten at were in Columbia. My husband and I attend many of the football games in Columbia so we're always looking for somewhere to eat. There are a few places that we really enjoy and have eaten there a few times.

Carrabba's Italian Grill - This is a nice family owned restaurant. They have a wonderful choice on the menu and a little bit of everything. Everyone can find something they like. My family and I have visited Carrabba's Italian Grill four times and was never disappointed. The first time we visited we had to wait about 30 minutes for a table but after that we made reservations ahead of time. So if you decide to visit Carrabba's Italian Grill be sure to reserve ahead of time. I recommend you try the Chicken Gratella or the Pasta Carrabba. The garlic mash potatoes are also a winner. I absolutely love their garlic mash potatoes. I always top my dinner off with the Chocolate Almond Cheesecake. The first time I tasted Chocolate Almond Cheesecake, I just couldn't get enough. It has a very unique taste to it. So that's what I order for dessert when I visit. They also have a menu for the little ones. My kids love the chicken fingers, grilled chicken breast, and for dessert they get the bambini sundae. On the downside, it can get a little crowded in there. So if you don't my the crowd you'll have a wonderful time.

Villa Tronco - This is a fine Italian restaurant. The service was wonderful and our waiter made sure we had everything we needed. Absolutely a wonderful dining experience at Villa Tronco. My family and I have visited Villa Tronco twice and can't wait to go back. They offer many different items on the menu. I have tried the oreo and chocolate marble cheesecake and it was wonderful. So I would definitely recommend you try one of them for your dessert. For your main course I recommend the Seafood Alfredo or the Shrimp Scampi. These are two wonderful dishes. The dishes are beautifully prepared and they serve you more than enough to fill you up. We had a wonderful time here.

Dianne's on Devine - This is a restaurant for couples to have a romantic dinner. The atmosphere is comfortable, relaxing, and romantic. The food is awesome. My husband and I ordered the Portabella Mushroom Platter and the Pasta Prudencia. We truly enjoyed it. We have only ate at this restaurant once but our experience was a pleasant one. The prices are pretty reasonable and the staff stay on top of things. We always had our glasses full. That is a big plus for me because it makes me mad when I have to stop eating because I'm out of drink. I'm sure many of you have had that experience too. But I will honestly say that never happened at Dianne's on Devine. Overall our trip to Dianne's on Devine was a nice pleasant one.

That is the best Italian restaurants that I have visited in Columbia. We enjoy each one of them every time we go. None of the restaurants have outrageous prices. All the prices are reasonable and you receive more than enough food to fill you up..
