St. Paul, MN 55105
United States of America
From the appetizer menu, one thing that sticks out is the Nachos. The Nachos are made with fried flour tortillas, which is different from most restaurants that use corn tortillas. This makes them a light, crispy, sensational treat. These nachos have cheese, black beans, tomato, corn, red onion, cilantro, and queso fresco. It is finished off with a chipotle puree and sour cream and accompanied by salsa. Seasoned chicken and ground beef is available for an additional cost. This in itself makes for a complete meal by the size of the serving. Another favorite is the Sears Tower Rings, which are a stack of onion rings served with honey mustard and Ranch Dressing. There is a Friday and Saturday night special of Prime Rib, which is only $14.95. This comes with a 12 oz. Prime Rib, served with the vegetable of the day and your choice of potato. They also sell breakfast on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Capone's Pork Tenderloin is $13.95, and is one of the best in the city. This tenderloin is marinated in a glaze sauce and seasoned with Southwest seasonings.
For the Chicago in their patrons, there are sandwiches such as the Hot Italian Sausage Sandwich, Meatball Sandwich, Chicago Hot Beef Sandwich, and Ernie's Combo, which is an Italian sausage link, Vienna Beef, red and green peppers, mozzarella, and au jus served on a Gonella roll.
For vegetarians there is the option of making any of their burgers by using the Garden Burger. There are also plenty of salads to choose. The Caesar Salad is plentiful and has a great tasting Caesar Dressing.
For the drink specials, there is a Build Your Own Bloody Mary, which is available Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Some of their other drink specials are the Lemoncello Martini and the Nutty Monkey Martini. The Lemoncello has Keitel One Vodka and Lemoncello Italian Liqueur with a twist of lemon. The Nutty Monkey has Stoli Vodka, Bailey's Irish Cream, Frangelico (Hazelnut Liqueur), and a dash of Crème de Banana.
Prices for the food range from $2.95 for a cup of soup to $15.95 for the Canadian Walleye.
Free parking is available and the dress code is casual. This restaurant accepts reservations for parties of five or more people. All foods are available for carry out. This is a kid friendly restaurant, complete with a kid's menu. The wait time for a party of four varies depending on the night, but averages about 30 minutes on a weekend night.
