Review of Betty Crocker Homestyle Creamy Butter Instant Mashed Potatoes

I am a big fan of mashed potatoes and when I came across a bag of Betty Crocker Homestyle Creamy Butter Instant Mashed Potatoes in my local dollar Tree store, I was delighted! I love so many of Betty Crocker brand foods. I decided to purchase this side dish, try it out and write a product review all about my experience with it. Here is what I discovered!

I bought one bag of Betty Crocker Homestyle Creamy Butter Instant Mashed Potatoes for only one dollar! Wow! I loved that very low price. Each bag has four servings in it. What a bargain. I discovered that I only have to add water to this side dish to make it. Fabulous. It already has the butter and milk in it. This dish is cholesterol free, very low in fat and even has a bit of fiber in it. Awesome. I could not wait to taste these!

These are perfect for microwave cooking and that is how I chose to prepare them. I poured the mashed potatoes into a microwave safe casserole dish, poured two cups of water in, whisked, covered and heated for four minutes. That is it. This dish turned out perfect. These are probably the easiest mashed potatoes I have ever made. When I tasted them, I loved them. They were delicious. I did not need to add anything to these. They were fluffy, creamy and filling. Fast and fabulous. I rate Betty Crocker Homestyle Creamy Butter Instant Mashed Potatoes five stars out of five stars. I will be buying these again. Everyone that tried these at my house loved them. I agree!

One serving has 80 calories in it. Only 10 of those calories are from fat. Marvelous! One serving has 1 gram of total fat, just 0.5 grams of saturated fat, 0 grams of trans fat, 0 mg's of cholesterol, 460 mg's of sodium, 18 grams of total carbs, 1 gram of dietary fiber, 1 gram of sugars and 1 gram of protein. This product contains milk and may have wheat and soy ingredients in it. The bag is bright red and blue. It has an easy tear open top. This dish is made with real mashed potatoes and natural flavor.
