Game Background
The background behind the gameplay is as follows. Basically, a worker has decided to take on the challenge of getting a couple of supercomputers back online in order to get the data beam to work again.
Your goal is to control the worker and solve puzzles that show up along the way.
Game Controls
Use the arrow keys on the keyboard to control the worker. Use the left or right arrow keys to move left or right. Pressing the up arrow key will allow the worker to jump upwards.
Pressing the Z button on your keyboard will allow the worker to interact with objects found throughout the game. The Z button will be used mostly to activate puzzles. To leave a puzzle, simply press the Z button again. You may leave puzzles for various reasons, including not being able to solve it at the moment.
Pressing the Q button will change the quality of the graphics for the game.
A mouse will be needed to solve the puzzles.
Gameplay
As mentioned earlier, the goal of the game is essentially to solve all of the puzzles to return power to the four cores in order to get the data beam to work. Solving one puzzle will allow you to solve other puzzles. Other than that, there is no particular order in which you must solve the puzzles.
Each puzzle varies in difficulty. Each puzzle also has a different goal and solution. It is essential to determine what the puzzle's solution may be, and then to find a way to reach that solution.
Game Review
Binary offers puzzle gamers a challenging and satisfying gaming experience. The collection of puzzles in this game will not only force players to work their minds but also rely on intuition as to how each puzzle must be solved. The addition of a short storyline adds to this submission's overall appeal. The soundtrack is an excellent touch as well, adding to the mysterious atmosphere.
Overall, Binary scores a 10/10 for its high entertainment value.
