Product Specific Information:
Advanced formula containing purified water, hyaluronic acid, ginseng extract, gotu kola extract, dong quoi extract, watercress extract, sumac extract and natural minerals for great coverage. This product is one hundred percent oil free.
Benefits of Product:
The benefits of this product are numerous as it contains actual skin care ingredients so not only is this a makeup base it is also a skin care product. This water-based formula not only contains natural plant extracts but is also natural looking and fade resistant. You can adjust the coverage by applying either a light or a heavy application. Bioelements Makeup Base does not contain any fragrance, mineral oil, irritants or any red dyes, so it is great for people with sensitive skin.
My Experience with the Product:
I just recently ran out of my normal foundation and was given a bottle of Bioelements Makeup Base from a friend of mine. I wasn#t sure what to expect and was thinking this foundation would be like so many others I have used in the past that were heavy and made me break out. Boy was I wrong! From the first application of Bioelements Makeup Base my skin felt healthier, full of moisture not oil. I noticed fine lines around my eye area disappear and a healthy glow re-appear.
I am not always good at washing my makeup off before I go to sleep, which is not a good thing, but I found out that sleeping with Bioelements Makeup Base on my skin all night did not make me break out, my skin actually looked better. This product is more like a skincare treatment but covers like a foundation. In my opinion this is the best makeup base I have used yet. I will definitely be purchasing more Bioelements Makeup Base when mine runs out.
Things that I like/dislike about the product:
Bioelements Makeup Base is a superior product, I can not think of anything that I dislike about this product. With a price tag of around $30 it is well worth the money. The packaging of this product is also great, it comes in a nice looking glass bottle with a pump dispenser so you can just pump out the right amount, no more messy lids.
Things I would change about the product:
Bioelements Makeup Base is a near perfect product, however with such a great product I think it would be very beneficial to add ingredients such as vitamins C and K.
