The Black & Decker StormStation All-In-One covers a lot of bases when it comes to storm preparedness like no other. What you have in this wonderful product in addition to a 25 watt power source is a AM/FM radio and detachable flashlight. The internal battery of the Black & Decker StormStation All-In-One is maintained and charged by a conventional 120 volt A/C power you have at your home.
One of the best features of the Black & Decker StormStation All-In-One to me is the built in emergency radio. Not only can you pick up regular AM/FM radio stations but you can also listen to standard weather bands in order to keep up with conditions and warnings as soon as your home experiences electrical outages from a storm.
The detachable flashlight is a high quality unit that lasts an amazingly long time and is easily dockable to the main power supply of the Black & Decker StormStation All-In-One. You can also power other small devices with the available 15 watt AC inverter used to power critical appliances or devices such as a cell phone charger or alarm clock.
The Black & Decker StormStation All-In-One is backed with a two year warranty and is built solidly from durable plastic. The unit is lightweight and does not take up a lot of space so you can conveniently store in your closet or vehicle.
I have had to use the Black & Decker StormStation All-In-One once during an extremely bad ice storm and this product performed flawlessly for the six hours during a power outage. The weather band radio's reception was much better than expected considering the lack of an obtrusive antenna. The unit charges fairly quickly and alerts the user when it is done charging, which is an added bonus feature of the product.
For the investment and quality I highly recommend this product to anyone concerned about storm readiness. I have owned many different Black & Decker products over the years and the quality devices this company has provided over the years show today with the Black & Decker StormStation All-In-One.
