Review: Blamtastic Lip Balm

The Lip Balm that was Created for Both Boys and Girls!

Beth Callahan
In the past couple of years, parents have become increasingly aware of the toxins and bad things that can end up in the items that we give our kids. Blamtastic lip balm is one product that we can give our children without having to worry about that problem. Blamtastic is the brainchild of...two children! Melanie and Lily (with the help of their mom) came up with the idea for this lip balm that has seemed to fill a void in the lip balm market. This is a lip balm that is marketed towards both boys and girls. Read on to find out what makes Blamtastic lip balm so fantastic.

My daughters and I opened up our package of Blamtastic lip balm and immediately started opening up our tubes to smell the lip balm. Blamtastic has 12 flavors to choose from and they smell fantastic. One of my biggest complaints about my regular lip balm is the artificial smell. Blamtastic has a very true scent that does not smell artificial and it is not overpowering. Once we were done testing out the scent factor, we started to apply the lip balm. Blamtastic does not feel waxy or sticky when it is applied to the lips and it also leaves your lips very soft and smooth. This non-waxy consistency keeps kids from overusing the product, thus saving money. It also has an SPF of 15 to protect your kids' lips from the sun.

Parents can feel safe about giving their kids Blamtastic lip balm because it has no petroleum or artificial preservatives. It also does not test on animal and is made right here in the USA. One problem that I always encounter when giving my kids lip balm is that they seem to lose it so quickly. Blamtastic has taken care of this problem as well. They have created sleeves that have a clip on them. You can attach the sleeve to their backpack, purse or keys and then place your lip balm inside. The problem of missing lip balm is history with this innovative sleeve.

Another awesome aspect of these lip balms is the fact that they include boys in their product. There are 6 girl and 6 boy flavors. The boy flavors have "boy" targeted packaging and the same with the girls. There are 2 different sleeve colors for each sex as well. My oldest ended up liking one of the boy targeted favors the best.

Blamtastic lip balm can now be purchase in over 200 stores nationwide, in Canada and online. Blamtastic was even featured in the swag bag at the 2009 Emmy Awards. That is amazing for a product that was the idea of 2 little girls. Blamtastic was created by kids, for kids. I love the concept of this. Who knows what would interest a kid more than a kid themselves? My kids love Blamtastic lip balm and I love that I know exactly what they are putting on their lips.

If you are interested in purchasing Blamtastic lip balm, you can visit the website at www.blamtastic.com to look for stores that carry it around your neck of the woods. You can also purchase Blamtastic lip balm and sleeves online from the Blamtastic website. Purchase one of these fantastic lip balms for your girl or boy today and see what makes Blamtastic so fantastic.
