Welcome to Aurora, Illinois. Here, in this increasingly populated southwest suburb of Chicago, you will find many interesting things to occupy your and your family's time. But in the midst of the chain restaurants and identical town-home associations, there is one place that is sure to put a smile on your face: Blueberry Hill Pancake House.

Do you ever feel like chocolate chip pancakes on a Saturday morning? This is the place to go. Blueberry Hill is located on the corner of Eola Rd. and New York St, right next to Walgreens store. Their exact address is 405 E. Eola Rd., and, if you must, you can call them at 630-499-1500.

This is a family-owned, diner-style restaurant that has an amazingly rich breakfast, lunch and diner menu. The atmosphere is very comfortable and their staff is super friendly. For the last several years that I have been frequenting this place, the staff has remained the same, which brings a certain comfort to the whole experience.

No reservations are necessary, but keep in mind that this diner is almost always busy. Typically, on a weekend morning, you will encounter at least a 10 to 15 minute wait (I promise you though, it's worth it). The food is served fresh, and anything on the menu can be ordered at any time. As far as breakfast goes, I recommend the chocolate chip pancakes and orange juice. Both are simple delicious. Please note that while this is a traditional family diner, they offer substitutions for a healthy breakfast; you can order whole-wheat pancakes and egg whites if you are looking for something healthier (and less yummy). As far as lunches go, I recommend any of their wraps. Each table receives their own pitcher of cold water, which adds to the convenience.

The prices and portions are very reasonable too. I have yet to manage to finish anything I have ordered. For under $15, two people can have a large, tasty breakfast with some food left over. My husband and I typically order an omelet with toast, some fresh OJ, coffee, and a full order (not the side order) of pancakes. If you do take my advice and opt for the chocolate chip pancakes, have someone on hand to split them with. Also, check your ValPak envelope (or their site) for a $5 off two entrées (including breakfast treats) at Blueberry Hill.

Stop by and check this place out. Blueberry Hill will most definitely live up to its "pancake house" title.
