Review of The Bonnie Hunt Show Premiere

Bernadette
The Bonnie Hunt Show premiered in our area on Monday, September 8, 2008 at 3 PM. This article will discuss the premiere show.

To read my first article about The Bonnie Hunt Show written before the show's premiere, click here. We watched The Bonnie Hunt Show while enjoying a late afternoon lunch specially prepared by my husband.

The Bonnie Hunt Show opening was very entertaining and colorful. Bonnie explained that her niece Emily did the voiceover and the drawings, which were animated, for the opening of the show. Emily was Bonnie's first guest, which was nice.

The Bonnie Hunt Show is taped in Culver City, California and features a live studio audience and a live band.

Bonnie Hunt looked nice in her casual pants outfit, which was very pretty. She came out on stage and sat behind a desk in a charmingly decorated set. Some of the items on the set included two chairs for guests, a piano, and many photos. Some of the photos around the set are of Johnny Carson and Jackie Gleason, along with many other people.

Bonnie Hunt also has what she called the "Dean Martin firepole" on the set of her show. Some of the Culver City firemen slid down the firepole. This segment of The Bonnie Hunt Show was fun to watch.

For the premiere show, Bonnie had three other guests, Robin Williams, Joe Mantegna, and Meiko. Robin Williams' entrance was unique; he came through an upper level door and proceeded to walk down a staircase with a basket of flowers, which he gave to Bonnie. While they were talking, there was a knock on what Bonnie called the "Dean Martin door". The person knocking on the door was Joe Mantegna. After he came on the set, he gave Bonnie a tasty looking heart shaped pizza.

The Bonnie Hunt Show premiere featured a segment when members of the studio audience had the opportunity to ask Bonnie questions. A few studio audience members asked questions. One woman asked a question about the time when Bonnie was a nurse.

My favorite part of The Bonnie Hunt Show was the delightful segment when Bonnie visited the elementary school where her sister teaches and asked some of the students various questions. It was truly an amusing segment of the show. From personal experience as an elementary school teacher, children can be very funny at that age.

We enjoyed The Bonnie Hunt Show premiere. It was an interesting and entertaining premiere show. We really like Bonnie Hunt and feel that she deserves to succeed with her new daytime talk show, The Bonnie Hunt Show. She is an extremely talented and funny lady.

We will continue to watch The Bonnie Hunt Show and we hope that each show will be just as interesting and entertaining as the premiere show.

I watch Bonnie on Comcast channel 13 WATL in Atlanta, GA. We CANNOT allow Bonnie's show to go off the air!! I depend on her everyday. In a country where we have literally hundreds of channels to choose from, there is very little worth watching and Bonnie is among that statistic! It infuriates me that they keep shows like, Maurey something, Jerry whatever, that is NOTHING but TRASH, along with all the, so called, reality shows, for years! But, when it comes to wholesome TV show that has content, integrity, not to mention, you are able to watch it with your children.... they can it! I simply DON'T GET IT. Well, I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it any longer!! Whatever, I am able to do to keep Bonnie on the air I will do it. Wish I could meet Bonnie, boy would that be a treat :) I believe all of you need to go back to the drawing board and put Bonnie back onto your line up for years and years!!!!
